Optimally I'd want to play as Cid since he's a dragoon.....but have they confirmed whether Cid will actually be playable here? He hasn't been shown in gameplay once I think, but neither has Vincent I suppose.

He and Vincent are both confirmed not playable, not even guest fighters like Red in Remake.

Note that XI did not require Gold back when it was on 360.

I still dont hate them but going back after SV to fill out my G-Max dex entries really hurt my impressions (which had previously been fine but not great).

SV easily my favorite new gen games since at least the DS.
