To say all non-binary people keep their name and use they/them pronouns is much too rigid. Thats like saying all cis people keep their name, however Ive known countless cis people who have changed their name to better align with their identity.

This mostly likely wouldn't happen actually, since OP said "cisgender woman". If she had a D at birth she would be assigned male at birth so not cis.

However, there is one way I could see this being the case: If someone is born AFAB (assigned female at birth) but has a phalloplasty for whatever reason (lets say she identified as a transman and wanted a D at the time) but changed her mind and now identifies as a woman again, she would be a cisgender woman with a D.

I genuinely feel the first paragraph. I just like thinking about how all the genuine stuff I feel could be seen as manipulation to the next person. If you really wanted, you could saying being nice to someone so they'll more likely be nice to you is a form of manipulation. And it kind of is taught that way when you're a kid. But you eventually grow into it becoming genuine. We all start off just doing whatever gets us what we want the fastest. We're all manipulating each other all the time. The intentions behind it are all that matter imo. Do you want me to feel good about myself? Or do you want me to feel like Im a lesser person than you? What's the driving force behind your manipulation?

Without reading too deeply into this post, I also agree that people are subtly manipulating each other all the time. I think the line is typically drawn when someone feels like they're being manipulated, or that they're being used as a mere means.

Lol. I dunno. Me and my sisters kind of just find it funny. The trust is in knowing that person won't cross any lines. If you got that, little stuff like this is just like a "gotcha" type thing. Plus, when you reveal it, it's kind of showing you're trustworthy anyway. Cause you could just hold onto that information for more personal gain later on. But instead you're giving them the insight and allowing them to not let ot happen again. Like exposing their own weak areas to them.

So bottom line is. You take advantage of someone. Then you expose it and trick them into thinking you're trustworthy again, then go a step further and tell them you're not just trustworthy but you're helping them. And that's how you be a good person

In my mind, I immediately think that I want chocolate chip cookie dough, and since he chose Cookies and Cream last time, I could make it happen with ease.

However, he proceeds to go, "Maybe some chocolate chip cookie dough".
Even though this is what I wanted too, I said, "Ok, I'll let you choose this time"

Measuring gender on a scale of more masculine to more feminine is completely valid and an accurate representation of how gender operates for most people.

My only regret is not putting nonbinary, agender, and genderfluid options.
