Yeah June 8th is when the 1864 law is supposed to go into effect. Then we also have the voter initiative that will defintiely be on the ballot in November as long as nothing WEIRD happens

Out of curiosity how did you decide on tubal ligation vs a bi slap, or hysterectomy? Sorry if thats too personal, just curious.

I might to a bi salp, it depends what information I get from my doctor. Edit: I'm reading bi salp can also trigger early menopause so I likely would not go that route.

I don't want to get a hysterectomy because I'm only 34 and I don't want to be on hormone replacement therapy until I go the age I'd be going through menopause/forever. My mom had to have a hysterectomy after I was born due to extreme endometriosis and she said she hated going through early menopause and having to deal with that. I also am a little nervous if they go in to do the laproscopic surgery they may find endo on my uterus and I won't have a choice.

The part where I stopped having to go in the office to work. And the part where no one was driving anywhere so my leisure drives would be just me on the road.

I agree. It's just a fun decoration. I leave the lights and trees up all year and then decorate outside and inside more during the season.

My girlfriend of nearly 25 years has continued to stay with me in spite of one of our first dates involving me emphatically pointing out that I was never, ever going to get married.

Of course, considering one of our first dates also had her voicing her opinion that "Babies are like alien parasites that grow inside of you, no thanks", we've fortunately been on the same page when it comes to relationship stuff from fairly early on.

But with someone else, who viewed marriage and kids to be a huge part of their ideal future plans, it wouldn't have been a very appealing option. And it would have been unfair to everyone involved to just string each other along for months (or years) in the hopes of convincing the other person to eventually change their mind. Or eventually coercing them into changing their mind via threats or emotional blackmail.

If two people have radically different ideas of what they want a relationship to be, it's much better to try and discuss that in advance rather than just wait until it turns into a huge fight/breakup over it.

This shit is why I don't get my ex. I spent 6 years telling him I didn't want kids. From the day we met. Then we broke up mainly due to his displeasure because he wants kids. Why did you waste so much of your prime parenting years??? Make sense.

I guess it is closer to the source than the all red star. My bigger problem with it is the points look all fucked up. The bottom 2 are these skinny little twigs while the top 3 are thick. It doesn't even follow the pattern of the show's star. It just looks like a star a kindergarten would make.

It's not "not being in tune" it's that there is misinformation taught and a lack of sympathy and empathy.

Are you getting the same kind of tuna? Chunk light vs albacore or yellowfin, or oil packed vs water?

The cans are a lot smaller than they used to be. Pre-2000 they were 7 ounces, now they are 5 ounces, though some are as small as 3.

Once upon a time "chunk" light tuna was actually chunky. Now it looks more like cat food.

Lately, when I've been making tuna sandwiches I notice the tuna is white with some pink in it so the tuna mixture is very light.

When I was younger, I distinctly remember canned tuna being more gray. Does anyone else remember that?

it can rain here - we're actually coming up on monsoon season in the summer. but i've never dealt with flooding on my property. it can get pretty muddy in a lot of areas but most areas just stay solid.

it's like a white sand beach. those are really hard to tell the depth of. i went to one when i was on a cruise and it was like 20 feet deep where i was but it looked like i could have just touched the bottom right there easily and have my head stay above water. so this is 5 feet and looks like 6 inches apparently lol
