But why be so gross about it? Arguing on the internet is as old as time, but effectively calling people predators over something like height... is... just gross.

Because some people don't really have fulfilling lives and just pretend to be rich on the internet while spewing the most ridiculous shit you can think of. It's an interesting hobby for sure.

This. I knew a guy in 9th grade that was 14 who was 6'4". He never grew any more, but he had the growth spurts super early in life.

I also knew another family who had a 12 year old who was 5'10". His older brother was like 6'3" and the kid was going to get there in quick time.

It's so weird to say that simply because someone's over a certain height they look like an adult.

That person is being... really gross about their projection.

Welcome to potd. That user does it all the time thinking they're riling people up when they really just are making themselves look loud, wrong and weird lmao

that makes sense

It's more of a lounge pool than for swimming or wading. I usually just lay in the surf or on the sides because they're 45 degree angles or swim around the middle of the deep end.

Can you explain the pool / water feature? I'm a bit confused. The way it slopes it looks very shallow. Is it just meant to be for aesthetics? Because if so, it's passing there. Just hard to tell if it's really something for swimming.

The pool is 5 feet deep in the deep end. It looks shallow because it simulates a white sand beach. I'm not sure if you've been to one before but I've been to one once in real life and it's super hard to tell the depth in a white sand beach. It always looks pretty shallow because the water reflects the white sand and stays pretty clear to the bottom. You can tell it's getting deeper because the blue gets more intense in that area.

He allowed me to understand I am deeply attracted to short men

My partner is only 5'5 and so was my last partner and my high school boyfriend was only 5'7

I've only dated one taller guy who was 5'10 and I didn't enjoy it as much in hindsight when it came to general physical touch like kissing.

With a 2.32% APY in a savings for $50,000,000 you would receive roughly $92,000 a month in interest.

That'd be nice (and excessive) . I would get a financial advisor to help me figure out what's best for me but I'd def be giving most to my community causes.

This. I don't really have money problems but money is always a problem with inflation so it'd help to have a huge nest egg.

But also if I won a billion dollar Powerball I'd spend most of it on my community to try to help homeless people with transitional housing and services.

i really like that game. i only ever play against bots so i have a lot of fun.

now they have this anti-cheat program they are forcing league players to install called vanguard which apparently is a 0 kernel level program or something and they require you run it 100% of the time your pc is on even when you aren't playing

why would anyone want to do that? apparently the program has a ton of issues and forces your computer to use a ton of resources or is actually bricking peoples' pcs.

that's.. not worth a game?

They filed a police report alleging the plumber "worked out of scope" which... Is not something the police can investigate lol it's just a guy working on pipes. He's licensed and made a mistake. It's not a police matter at all
