How is tragedy of Macbeth? I was going to see it but then it looked kinda too indie with black and white and comments calling it very slow, I just want to watch an adaptation of the Macbeth play

If you're already familiar with the Macbeth tale and you can get past the very difficult Shakespearean dialogue, you will love it. What sets this version apart from the ones before it is that it plays out in a somewhat dark, barren, and atmospheric world filled with fog and nothingness. Those elements really set the tone in murder and madness. I have no idea if this movie was shot on an iPhone or something lol because it's advertised as an Apple movie, but aside from that it's similar in a style as The Lighthouse (4.3 ratio, black and white). On the big screen it's not noticeable but on tv I can see it being an odd experience for modern viewers used to 16:9 widescreen.

The performances are very rich and on point which help cue you in the context of the Olde English lines so that helps viewers not used to the language. Coen Bros. staple Stephen Root is in it too which really shows the remarkable range he has in the acting world capable of playing anyone. Even Brian Thompson from Mortal Kombat Annihilation has a role and it's alot more respectable than as Shao Khan

Anyway this is one of Denzel's best performances ever and likely gonna get him another Oscar win for it. Whole movie in general will probably win alot too.

I gave it one last try recently by installing the game in the PS5's internal SSD after it crapped out badly on PS4, PS5 via HDD, and even external SSD.

Now it's finally above "playable" and I have been enjoying it. Thing is though, the city is so fucking barren and there's still not much else to do. Can't buy food from the human vendors, still can't break into random "[LOCKED] apts as originally promised, NPCs barely interact with you, can't make deals, etc.

It's a very fine straightforward RPG playing the main story and missions however as a GTA-level sandbox RPG that was supposed to have all these robust activities and shit, it's disappointing.

its not like theyre like Netflix where Im going to be missing out on any exclusive thatll draw me back, and Im in no hurry to have to rebuild my playlists again

tbqh I don't even know the advantages or distinctions between these music stream apps anymore. Spotify simply dominated the field for a long time and so I stuck with them out of habit because shitty UI changes aside, the service itself always worked excellently and still does.
