Eh Asmon has played different games and mmos before so I don't think him playing FF14 is that big of deal. Until ActiBlizz starts losing their whales I think they'll keep shitting out expansions and patches.

It's not dead. WoW still has plenty of whales and people who are just straight up addicted to the game to keep making stupid amounts of money. The lawsuit is bad PR now - but it will blow over and most WoW players who remain probably don't give a fuck (just check the official forums). I doubt WoW will ever reach the heights it once did and it probably won't ever be a good mmo again, but ActiBlizz knows how to squeeze every penny out of a captured player base.

Realistically there isn't much you can do. You can comply as much as possible but if the cop decides he wants to beat you/kill you then he will.

Bloodborne is my favorite game of all time and the only game I ever bothered to platinum.

Don't player it like the other souls game - be aggressive. Offense is the best defense and it's almost always worth it to go in for another hit while you'll most likely be punished if you play to defensively.

Get the DLC. It's worth it. Has some of the best weapons and boss battles and further elaborates on the story and lore.

Also use you're consumables like fire/bolt paper, oil, molotovs, etc. The game really wants you to play like a hunter and in bloodborne hunters use tools.

Don't listen to that guy. Sub-50 you really shouldn't be doing more than 2 packs at a time especially as a DK when you don't get main mitigation tool until 70, and honestly 1 pack at a time really isn't that much slower.

I'd also add that the ARR dungeons aren't really good for wall 2 wall pulling since they're actually dungeon like and if you don't know the correct route you could end up pulling way more than any pug can handle. Wall 2 wall is much more viable starting in HW since those dungeons are just hallway - boss - hallway - boss - etc, and in reality you'll only be pulling 2-3 packs when doing wall 2 wall.

I just got done with the 3.2 MSQ last night. I'd be further in the story but I can't stop trying out new jobs. Started as a lancer and beat the ARR MSQ as that. Then leveled up a glad/pal and did the post ARR MSQ as that. Then once I unlocked DRK went through HW as that, but then I unlocked gunbreaker and started messing with that, BUT then after reading more about that the 4 tanks classes I started dabbling with MRD and then decided to level up Paladin back to 60, and now after all that I'm sort of wondering if I should go back to gunbreaker.

I need help.

Loved the WFC trilogy so far - especially hyped for this since I grew up with Beast Wars and that was what made me a lifelong fan of transformers.

As far as I'm aware twitch does absolutely nothing to help promote new streams. You're stream will be listed at the very bottom of the page and will be almost assuredly seen by absolutely no one. You can't really self promote because that's generally prohibited at most sites and if it isn't it's pretty much an open invitation to getting trolled.

Unless you've got a group of people already willing to be an audience for you or you know an already established streamer will give you a shoutout you won't be able to get any sort of traction and you'll be streaming to literally no one.

Beyond that there was a study done some time ago that found that people form a para-social relationship with content creators which is to say they watch people that they want to be friends with. Are you good at making friends and do people generally like you? If not you'll absolutely won't make it as a streamer unless you can provide some other reason to watch you.

I tried several times to get into ff14 but it never grabbed me. Was playing tbc classic and was getting bored so I thought I'd give ff14 one more shot and now I'm fucking hooked real bad. I can't remember the last time I had this much fun with a game. Gonna finish leveling dark knight to 50 tie up a few loose ends and then it's off to the heavansward msq.

Also your chocobo doubling as a battle companion might just be my favorite feature in any MMO.

Unpopular Opinion: The legend of Zelda ocarina of time is a great game.

While I was sleeping a stray cat jumped in my room through my open window and started hissing at me. My cat immediately jumped off my bed and attacked the stray cat and kicked it out of my room.
