All the factors that contribute to crime are basically present there: lots of migration in a very racist aging area so theres a divided population and social strife, a region that lost its purpose (mines were closed and that doomed the region to poverty), and borders two neighboring countries so its perfect for drug trafficking. Zwijn, are you near Dilsen-Stokkem in Belgium? I really liked that TV series filmed there "Hotel Beau Sejour" it seems like a really nice area. |
