The statement he made is worth 10 days in jail. Also he used a match, which is very classy. I respect this man.

I guess I'm really asking how it compares to the other total war games, though. The only other ones I've played are medieval II, which I only played enough to kind of skim the surface. And Warhammer 1&2, which I have never even played all the way through a proper battle on. I do want to get into a TW game, but I hear Medieval II's main appeal is the modding community, and ATM I feel more interested in a history-based game than fantasy. I made this topic because I was wondering if there is another game that might be better based on the preferences I described.

He's the most entertaining character by far in ASOIAF. We love him because of his belligerence combined with his intelligence. But in person would that personality come off as graceful as it does in a fictional work? Would he come off more as obnoxious if you were to interact with him in person?

His show format is being extremely inquisitive toward his interesting guests. Inquisitiveness is a sign of intelligent. Dumb people don't ask questions because they think they know everything.

That episode was cringe. Even Joe was literally cringing during it. You could see Joe getting visibly upset with it. And the fact that Neil acted like he wasn't doing anything wrong really put me off. I've seen the other appearances on the show and they weren't nearly that bad.

I still like Neil alright and would like to see him back on the show again, but a little less... Speedy.

I'll have to rewatch it some time and see if I agree. From what I remember in that interview, Joe seemed pretty interested through the majority of it.

People dont like him on Twitter because he "ruins" movies by talking about how they contradict science. Such as informing us that BB8 wouldn't be able to travel through sand because he rolls.

Is it because he kept "interrupting" Joe? I've seen a lot of people say that about that interview. I think even Joe would disagree with you. He invites people on his podcast because he wants to hear them talk. If you pay attention, he spends much more time listening to his guests than talking to him.

Niel was simply aware of what kind of podcast he was on, and did what he had been invited on the set to do.

He's more interesting than all the people who voted yes.

That's why he has a famous podcast and they dont.

if there were no religion, people wouldn't have as much of a moral compass. Crimes would be even more plentiful and a lot of people would cease being decent human beings.

Dont more active people have higher metabolism than they would if they were sedentary? So yeah metabolism is a factor, but you even sort of have control of your metabolism.

I think it's pretty cool and it gives me hope that maybe one day I'll make money just for expressing myself in some way on the internet. Ideally it wouldn't be something as laughable as a Let's Player, but I certainly wouldn't turn down the opportunity to make money by playing video games.

Also you want your strength to be 18/00 or as close to 00 as you can get (00 = 100, so 99 is very good, 01 is very bad).

People will recommend pure fighter for your first build, but that's boring.

Be a fighter/mage for offense or fighter/cleric for defense so you can have more things to play around with.

If you dont mind being a gnome, you can be fighter/illusionist, which I've heard is very fun.

For your proficiency skills, I believe you want to prioritize warhammer and flail.

Like say you skipped Mass Effect, for example, because you didn't want to sign up for Origin.

Uhh... I dont play D&D, but I think I know enough to know that sounds like a shitty DM. Aren't YOU supposed to be in charge of your actions? The DM is just supposed to provide the setting and objects/NPCs to interact with, based on my understanding.

Look, it's not that we don't believe you it's that we want something concrete about WHY it's supposedly so good or revolutionary. Give us something to get excited about.

Well I dont think we'll have anything concrete until the game releases.

I get that saying it will be as revolutionary as Half Life is a big statement that will be difficult for the game to look up to. Plus, such a statement won't be confirmable until years after the game is released. I'm not saying I know that statement will be true. I'm saying there is optimism to be drawn from that statement, along with everything else I saw/heard from the video in the OP.

Everybody knew Fallout 76 was going to be bad. Expectations for that game were almost as bad as No Man's Sky. Expectations for DOOM Eternal have been nearly unanimously positive. Fallout 76 was a bad example to use for this case.
