He got to play the game for several hours. Most of the gameplay you see in this video is by him. I say reputable, but I'm not sure how he is received by others. I just know I recognized his voice when I watched this video, and know that his opinions are generally spot on for me.

He claims DOOM Eternal will push the genre in a direction that all subsequent FPS games will try to follow, much like Half-Life in 1998.

Things that make me less suspicious:

-She is responding intelligently to my specific messages. Definitely not a robot.
-As I mentioned above, she DOES have photos of her hanging out with friends, although those friends don't interact with this photos.
-She's attractive, but not ridiculously so.

That reminds me, conversations on the way to the objective that go on waaaay longer than it takes to actually get to the objective forcing you to sit and park somewhere if you want to actually hear everything. Then there's the ones where they'll just randomly start another conversation when you hit a certain point, or you're on some sort of time limit or chase and there's conversations going on that can get interrupted by getting close to the target.

I don't understand how yall are saying this makes the TC bi. This was a pre-OP ftm. All visual and physical cues point to female. The qualities TC described that he found attractive were all feminine qualities. For all intents and purposes, TC had sex with someone who was presented to the animal part of his brain as a female. TC's sexual orientation didn't change just because the person in question claimed to identify as a male.

If he was a woman at birth, and what you saw still resembled a woman (which based on your description, this seems to be the case), I'd say that still makes you straight, regardless how that person claims to identify.

Conversely I don't much care for chase scenes where you're supposed to catch someone but the game speeds them up to a ridiculous degree every time you get close to them for the first minute or so and then they slow down to the point where only an idiot couldn't catch up to them. For fuck's sake just have them be running at just under our speed from the get-go and never slow down.

GTA is also bad about this because they keep moving more and more towards a cinematic experience.

In GTA games I find myself parking a few feet away from the objective marker for several minutes sometimes until the characters finish their dialogue. It's like the devs didn't think about the short distance that was traveled when writing the dialogue.

So how did they chop the wood to make the first axe handle without an axe to chop it with?

I did. You have to make sure to buy the October 2006 version. All the unhappy people bought the 2004 version. As long as you buy the one that has the correct labeling in the picture, supposedly you straight.

I always remember this old late 80s or early 90s zelda cartoon on tv and there was an episode where Ganon captures Link. And Zelda picks up a sword and turns into a badass to rescue him

Canonically, shouldn't Zelda be more powerful than Link? She seems to always have incredible powers, but she always gets captured by Ganon, so she doesn't really get to use them until it's time to deliver the final blow for Ganon. Or I think in BotW, she had been holding Ganon back with her power for 100 years.

That would be badass. Imagine what kinds of abilities she could have with her magic.

She could be given the same athleticism Link had in BotW. But it'd be cool if she had like... Alteration and Illusion magic from Elder Scrolls, as opposed to Link's more brute-force magic abilities.

It'd be a cool way to play a Zelda game, man. I hope they do it.

One day a user challenged me to a "keystyle" battle (kind of like freestyle battle, but you type it) and said the loser would leave the board.

I ended up winning the votes despite like half the board disliking me at the time. I told the guy he didn't have to leave, though. It was Christmas Day and I didn't feel like being an ass.

The presentation is supposed to be 35 minutes long. I'm sure the reveal will be the last thing that gets covered.

Increased metabolism, burn calories, standing posture is better than sitting for your overall spine health. People who stand more than they sit each day have longer life spans... there are too many benefits to name.

I've already made up my mind that I'm getting one. I didn't make this topic for you guys to suggest I try to make better sitting habits instead. I was just curious how many other people would be interested in this sort of thing.

I work out, too, man. But idk, I enjoy slouching almost like a recliner in my computer chair. I mentally cant continue to sit with correct posture for extended periods of time. Even when I do, I can still tell I'm being bad to my back in the long run. My chair probably isn't ideal, but I don't really want to spend the money it takes to get one of those good gamer chairs.

The idea of standing to use my PC has always appealed to me. Plus it would be cheaper for me to get one of these than a proper gaming chair.

Actually her voice would fit a Bond film theme very well.

I'm thinking about getting one of these. I game and do multiple other things on my PC a lot on the weekend. By the time the weekend is over, my back feels like shit from being crumped up in a computer chair for long periods multiple days in a row. Plus I know sitting for long periods is bad for your long-term health -- much more so in a computer chair than a couch or recliner.

I could also see myself getting one of these if I worked in an office -- if I had a desk there that it could fit on. Probably great for work-from-homers as well.

Another positive would be getting rid of my computer chair, which takes up a lot of space in my room.

Gameplay? Probably not. I end up falling to my death because platforming in first person hadn't been very well developed (think about the platforming in the first Half-Life game. This is worse). It's not that bad, though, since most levels aren't extremely platform intensive. You fail the mission if you kill any human enemies on Expert, so a lot of your weapons feel pretty useless. But when you do end up in sword combat, we're talking Morrowind kind of bad. Sometimes I feel like the mechanics for what alerts enemies and gets me caught are inconsistent. After you get caught, I feel like fleeing from enemies takes way too long sometimes. One of the later levels, if you get caught, every enemy gets alerted to you until you finish the level. I didn't have the patience to ghost that level, so I ended up spending more than half of that mission sprinting away from enemies that were right behind my tail chasing me as I hunted for treasure.

But level design is top notch. The environments you hunt treasure in are so immersive, that I forget about how bad the graphics are. Ambient noises and cool dialogue that you overhear while sneaking around add the the immersive atmosphere.

The voice acting of the main character, Garrett is pretty good. He actually voice acted for a lot of characters in this game. His name is Stephen Russel, and he did a lot of characters in Skyrim, too. Belethor is one popular character he voices.
