Apple pie meanwhile is amazing, and Dutch Apple Pie is one of the best pies (right up there w/ banana cream and key lime pies).

if you minimize new assets and just use stuff from previous games it usually brings costs down a lot.

The multi-hundred million games are usually mostly new and massive in scope and scale.

yeah any of you think that like GT7 and MGSV costed a ton to make? In particular gt7 has not gone down much in price. I can't really blame them.

I go there for certain things that are cheaper there, especially between Sams Club trips, as Sams is about 45 minutes away and Wal-Mart is 20.

About once a month. The workers tend to work slowly and I always seem to end up in a line where people are chatting instead of ringing up the groceries.

But it's whatever. People that get paid poorly put in low wage effort. Can't blame them.

Picked the disc version at launch and its still in its box. Once I built a gaming PC, I have little need for consoles unless theres exclusives. Maybe GTA6 will be the title for me to break it out.

How about Despicable Me? The first one is pretty good, and the sequels and Minions spinoffs are all less good.

i don't agree. The first one may be the best but the sequels were not bad, many were pretty good. But i have asked about these movies on this site before. Seems those movies are less popular among the guys on this site than among most americans. Wonder why

Superman and Lois will be the final CW DC Superhero show. It will finish it's fourth and final season next year.

so it will be the last? why though? How are the special effects on that show? I don't have cable anymore , i don't think i can watch it

When I was about 11, I broke my finger and the bone was healing in a really unfortunate position, so the doc said we had to rebreak it to position it correctly. I was given the choice of surgery or just numbing it and doing it by hand right there. Surgery sounded scary, so I opted for the second one.

The numbing did not help.

why didn't you just choose the surgery and anesthesia?

My parents looked into suing the doctors that committed blatant malpractice when my youngest brother was being born two months early in trying to delay the birth after mom's water broke which likely caused or worsened his cerebral palsy. But none of the lawyers they contacted would take the case, almost always saying that they thought it was a legitimate case but that it would be too difficult to prove anything.

I liked it as it aired but was ready for it to be done by the time it was over. I have had a less and less favorable view of it as time has gone by, especially compared to Superman & Lois.

Did superman and lois have any special effects or action at all? I don't get the love for that show

Yeah they got rid of their superhero shows. WB merged with UPN and became CW which had quite a few superhero shows in the same style as Smallville. That may have happened around the time Smallville ended. Green Arrow, Flash, Legends of Tomorrow and supergirl.

i don't think any of those shows are still airing. People just flock to the theaters to see those stupid mcu marvel superhero movies.

I do like the CW shows typically for the first few seasons then they get pretty bad. I stopped after a while with those but I imagine they would make me feel the same way as Smallville if I saw them through to the end.

Doom Patrol just had a good enough end. It was strongest in its first season though. Same with Titans. Invincible and the boys are my favorite but they probably aren't the most traditional comic shows.

not sure if cw is still around. smallville was originally on wb . If cw is stil around it is not huge or watched much iirc. Interesting thing the smallville creators said, they said that in today's time they don't believe that any network would pick up the show, or it couldn't be made. Which i found incredibly sad.

I'm thinking of sueing my current doctor. He makes hipaa violations left and right, and fucks me over on my medicines and all sorts of issues because he has ego issues while not being able to remember what medicine is what.

the electricity you use to power all the lightbulbs in your house at night? Just like 20 -30 yrs ago there really weren't any personal devices that most people had to charge. Now there's usually a bunch. Not sure if that used to charge cell phones is a huge amount, though.

There was a case where I called an ambo and they basically said "nah you're fine" and left, only for me to have to call another one and get admitted to hospital the next day. I refused to pay the bill for the first call but didn't take it beyond that.

did you eventually have to pay the 1st bill?

or if not sued, then thought that serious medical malpractice was committed against you?

It had its ups and downs but more downs than ups. The finale episode made me think I wasted so many hours of my life on this show.

Do you like any comic , or superhero tv shows? I really liked smallville, but like i said the ratings were not great

I watched it on ABC Family since we didn't get The CW/ The WB on cable. It basically ended when Clark went to Metropolis, which sounded like it was maybe a good place to end.

The theme song was always stuck in my head.

is it still on abc family? is that network still on, were you like a little kid or something when it was airing? It started in 2001.
