Counting just close friends, 3 men and 2 women. With guy friends we'll usually be doing something like gaming or hiking together. With girl friends it's usually more just sitting somewhere talking for a couple of hours.

Before my dad died he was in credit card debt he really couldn't afford. He called his BiL who is a lawyer and asked him what he should do. The advice was "don't pay anything. You're credit will go to shit but you'll never pay them."

Apparently it's too costly for debt collectors to ever sue you so you'll just get letters about it. Also most of them will just cancel your debt after a certain number of years apparently.

Not saying this is good advice but hey

I had some success with it years and years ago but after my last relationship I tried getting back into it and holy shit it was bleak. I was straight up insulted by matches after they figured out I wasn't making a lot of money, and some even talked shit about my interests.

Especially if the logic makes no sense at all, or the mod is just plain wrong. I remember talking about emulation and getting modded for illegal activities. I appealed that emulation isn't strictly illegall all the time. They replied that you couldn't legally emulate games from that console, which wasn't true.

I appealed again and explained how it wasn't true and I was talking about legal emulation. After that it was just upheld with the mod saying it was still illegal. (It isn't/wasn't)

The only time I got really upset is when I said something and some moron marked it and the mod agreed. I had to dispute it three times before the last moderator finally showed reading comprehension that everyone else lacked. Other than that, I don't even check my mods.

My parents basically blew the chance of a very easy life by being really fucking stupid with money. Dad could have been a multi millionaire by now but is sitting on literally nothing.

And my older brother figured out that if he maxed out as many credit cards as possible by the age of 25 then he could just act like money is monopoly money. What even is debt anyway? 5 figures, 6 figures - who cares? It's just several hundred dollars in minimum payments per month foe the rest of your life...

So now I'm basically allergic to debt. Even good debt. I can barely justify a mortgage or a car. Instead I live out of a suitcase at net zero. The most debt I've ever been in was 4k and that wasn't even for me. I'm only just now at the age of 36 learning how to invest and grow wealth.

No they didn't but I know my mom has had to do it for security jobs. I'm sure the prison would these days if it wasn't hard enough getting/keeping staff as it is.

Also used to work at a prison juvenile detention center now.

I think it should be only a thing if the crime in question is recent or a long history of it AND the crime in question could be problematic for the job. Like larceny or embezzlement yeah don't put them in control of money.

Funny how they used to charge you a refurbishing fee if the game you traded in had a small scratch but yet I seen multiple games I bought be in way worse condition and have other stuff on it and they acted like it wasn't a big deal.

Then I found out recently you can't get any less then $10 in Xbox credit, I used to get the power up rewards every year because you got $5 free every month to use on whatever in the store but I wouldn't even be able to use the $5 every month.

I've had two credit checks for two separate security clearances. Also I knew a guy that couldn't enlist because of just his credit.

Its not so much that Id object somebody doing it to me as I just dont see what the point of it is. It doesnt tell you anything useful.

Cats are the perfect killing machines, so long as the prey is same size or smaller. They're not well equipped to solo animals larger than themselves, so cat vs cat will mostly come down to size and weight. Tigers are generally the larger cat.

i read the size diff between male lion to tiger is exaggerated by most people though.

Tiger almost always wins. Male lions can reliable beat female tigers however. The male tiger's extra bulk pushes it beyond what a lion can handle unless it can ambush the tiger while it was tired or hungry.
