Yeah so far it's the most middle of the road, safest, most predictable, serviceable, inoffensive, don't-take-a-stance-on-anything, baby's-first-story writing I've EVER seen in a video game. I'm not even disliking the game, but everything that's happened so far is so painfully obvious, and Aloy just instinctively knows everything that's happening to make sure the player knows what's happening.

The current day story isn't very interesting, but the story you piece together about the past is great.

Also, the game was better for me because it takes place where I live.

Maybe Coke One is fine in this instance.

It's a bit mind blowing how it seems that every streaming service is jacking up rates these days, we are getting to the point where the old days of Cable were actually cheaper then having every single major streaming service at once.

Even if you limit to the big boys like

That is well over $100 a month, even if you divide the Amazon Prime a bit since it provides a lot of other things.

You could just... not get all of them? Plus, unlike cable, you can just wait until the shows you want are available and get one for a month, then cancel. The "this is worse than cable" complaints don't hold weight, because the biggest complaint with cable was that you couldn't just buy the channels you wanted, you had to get all of them. Streaming services are channels you can choose to buy.

So for the entire game, was Ganondorf just sitting in that chamber he woke up in, doing nothing?

Finally went ahead and beat it, and the final boss might well be the best one in the series. Demon King Ganondorf is downright imposing, from the extra long health bar to straight up deleting your hearts. That fight is also the only time I actually liked the durability mechanic, because shields break after he hits them 3 or 4 times, so missing a dodge and shielding an attack instead is still punishing (I only had 2 shields left at the end of the fight). Best spectacle final phase in the series too. Seeing the "Destroy Ganondorf" objective complete after watching die in an atomic blast is satisfying.

Probably in preparation for a PC release, like the first one's remaster.

It doesn't matter what he said. Where are all the xbox exclusives? How are Rare's IPs doing? Sony's IPs are putting out games consistently and Microsoft has to resort to buying game studios to gain an edge.

Yeah, but those were the sages of standing around, and these are supposedly the sages of kicking ass.

They should have showed us the final battle against Ganondorf from each sage's perspective, instead of just showing everyone standing around each time. Then we'd get the same info but actually get to watch something interesting.

The most disappointing thing about Wonder is that they're still doing grassland, desert, snow, forest, etc. that they always do. The 3D games are always creative with their settings, but when it comes to 2D, they're unwilling to mix it up.

What's up with gibdos in this game? When I first saw them I thought they were redeads, got confused when I found out they were gibdos, then more confused when they were insects.
