Life can be pretty shitty. Hell, it's mostly shitty. Look at animals. They're out there in the wild struggling to survive everyday. You could have been a deer that gets ripped apart by wolves and eaten alive, but you became a human instead. Teens (13+)/young adult's (18-20) seem to be the target audience these days. With how anti- they are, it's no surprise Fandom and other places are sanitizing sites. "Think of the children" has always been an easy way to change things.
