So here's a pessimistic take on things:

What do any of these proceedings actually change? As fun as it is watching corruption be called out, Trump isn't being impeached either way and no one in the Fox News camp is going to believe anything that comes out of it.

It's still a necessary step.

It is imperative to preempt the cries of "If what trump did was so wrong why didn't you impeach him?".

They need to be able to point back to these hearings and say "we did everything we were required to do by the constitution to remove trump from office. We held hearings and we discussed events at great length and we reached sound conclusions." And then they can point to the specific senators who vote to acquit as to the reason why Trump was not removed.

It might not move the needle on removal for office, but it can sure as heck move the needle on specific Senate races next November.

Unless you are willing to throw away a round (which I might do for a hydra or a sentry bot) there is still a hard limit to how much you can juice a single minion before you end up with it as the only minion on board and 4+ mana crystals on hand.

You just have to commit to your line as soon as your turn starts.

So I just started Pokemon shield.

Less than 10 encounters into the game and I encountered a Shiny Skwovet! I don't even have a Pokedex yet, lol. Good thing i redeemed my mystery gift code for those quick balls.

Played my first pyramad game (it was up against ragnaros and I didn't see myself having many chances to use his hero power.

Got 1st place somehow. It came down to me, AFKay, nefarion and Nulla. Y'know 3 actually good heroes...and pyramad. And most of my health lost came from an early demon package I was forced to run because that was the only way I could stay relevant before tavern 4. What a bizarre game.

That is awesome! And i love the battle master. He has great synergy with brann and he's my go to demon when I have a lightfanf setup for late game.

Foe Reaper + Cave Hydra + Amalgam + Murloc/Demon. With a lightfang and a brann and a flex spot to thrown down buffs on everything. Next to unstoppable.

I'm finishing up about 100 mmr today. Just about 5400. I've had some significant revelations about timing level ups and engineering timely power spikes. I'm also trying to play in a way to consistently finish top 4 even if it lessens my chance for actual 1st.

And Deryl is freaking op. The dance is difficult but oh so good.

Third run was Pyramad or Patches.

Pyramad is hot garbage, but I can't imagine Patches would have been any better.

Patches is "pray you remove two divine shields" which imo is better than pyramad. Divine shields and poison are such a huge part of end game. It's honestly just a shitty version of nefarion, but still more of a late game upside than expensive extra health.

No one else I saw that game was going beasts so there should have been plenty in the pool to find another. But I saw at least 3 with strong mech builds so I made the decision to commit to a beast line.

The shared pool of cards makes it awkward, but I think I made the right call.

Umm. After reading past just the headline I think I'm on board.

It doesn't sound like they are requiring kids to stay at school 3 more hours. It sounds more like they would be requiring schools provide extracurricular programs that go 3 hours past the normal school day. If you're a single parent working a 9 to 5 I could see that being incredibly helpful.

But yeah the headline makes it sound like ass.

I went with Stadium Arcadium.

I know it's long, but that's not a downside for me. And there are songs you might consider "filler", but they don't detract from the overall vibe of the album. And that's why I've continued to throw on SA over the years. It sets the cool vibe and its a slow burn that I can just enjoy for a couple hours without being upset that not every song is a banger. This probably also speaks to my listening style which is to generally listen to albums in their entirety rather than just selecting one or two songs.

Almost all of Yangs 4%+ polls have been random non counting polls. And he's put up 3% in like 10 polls that count. It's going to take a nice November debate bump to qualify for December I think. I know he's been expanding his number of offices as well, but that additional ground game hasn't translated to % yet.

the constant 3%s are annoying, but he's said that he's just finally started to spend money and is planning to ramp things up, his first ads have gone out, and his wife is joining him on the campaign trail. have you seen any of her interviews/ads? she's wonderful! i don't think any of these polls have been after the opening of the offices and all this other stuff, so, we'll see...

I saw the CNN interview. She's pretty great yeah. I'm still hopeful he'll be regularly polling 5% by mid December, but these large debate fields do not work in his favor. I was really pleased with his initiative in the October debate and I hope he has a similar performance in 2 weeks.

And I hope the moderators realize that Klobuchar isn't bringing anything to the table so they shouldn't give her almost 15 dang minutes.
