I am gonna cook Hong kong style steamed fish for my girlfriend tomorrow.

Any white meat fish, can be fillet or whole or whatever. Very simple, relatively easy clean, delicious and healthy

Fish
Few cloves of garlic
Ginger
Sesame oil (or olive it doesn't change much)
Cilantro
Green Onion
Soy sauce
Rice wine (can just use water tbh)
Fish sauce

Peel the ginger cut it into long, tiny pieces
Cut green onion also into long pieces. Use the white part, save half of the green part for garnish

Heat the oil to medium heat.
Put the garlic, white part of green onion and ginger, stir fry it until fragrant. Then put soy sauce and fish sauce, stir it a little bit, maybe for 15 to 30 seconds, then put sake in (around half a small cup) , wait until they boil, then put in some water

After that, just put the fish in a steamer, just put the fish there, pour over the sauce and steam until the meat is fully cooked (depend on the size and type of fish).

Add cilantro and the green part of green onion for garnish. I sometimes crush some fresh chili on a pestle, scoop up some of the fish soup/sauce thing and mix them, pour on top of the fish for spice.

Sounds delish, even if I like fish I rarely cook it when alone. Also I ate lots of seafood in Gran Canaria so I wasnt up for fish.

Im already considering maybe have a goal where I live 6 months in Spain or here and 6 months in Sweden or something like that, I want to skip the dark shitty winters.

Work in Sweden for me is easy to have and find. Harder in Spain but I can learn Spanish easy I think. And having Swedish and Finnish is a plus in Gran Canaria since there are many Nordic tourists here anyway.

I dont wanna go home to cold dark Sweden!!

Its a fresh take on the genre which I liked.

Ja fr fan, lskar det! r p Gran Canaria, Playa del Ingles. lskar dynorna eller ken som det r, skn lagom varm svensk sommar i deras smsta period. Sen att vi kan bete oss som par verallt hr utan att nn skulle tycka det r konstigt r ett plus. Yumbo som r gaycenter hr verkar trevlig men vi har bara skrapat p ytan.

Never had them. Was my first time eating snails.

They are pretty good, but I find it's everything around the snail and not the snail itself that is good.

Snails tasted great on their own, had herby, woodsy and earthy flavor and the sauce around it worked so well with the flavors.

I love it. On some fresh nread with butter, so good.

Tried it some hard cheese as well, cheese is very mild but a tiny bit marmite opened up the flavors of the cheese.
