How brutal is the show? I thought it might be something my wife would like to watch but was going to avoid if it was too depressing or rough.

It has brutal scenes but prob gonna get more brutal in later seasons. Its not gore porn there is some light stuff in it too. Its a bit uneasy horror in it as well. Its more exciting than depressing.
