| EventualDecline 04/16/24 5:43:30 AM #387 | I noticed that whenever something "major" happens in the world in recent years, that's the excuse for gamefaqs to crack down on political discussions. So after George Floyd in 2020, political discussions were banned on the PS4 board (which was a major, high traffic board at the time, on this site anyway), after January 6th the Trump board was deleted and there were further crackdowns, then after 10/7 they cracked down on political discussions even more, and now this.
The mantra in the last 4 years is "political opinions are fine, until something happens that is, then political opinions are no longer fine and you are no longer permitted to have opinions on politics or on anything else". LOL, what kind of logic is this? I'm not arguing about any of this, just pointing out the absurdity of the situation. --- "If it were big enough, your cat would kill and eat you.
