My guess is that you never actually understood the rules of YGO and just assumed it was easier because you just house-ruled nonstop. I would say first release YGO was easier to intuit than OG pokemon precisely because resource management was nothing beyond mob sacrifice. All you had to do was learn the turn order and figure a good way to balance your deck. Like, you cant just throw him off again. He was supposed to go through the cage, but with a push from taker to bend the cage more slowly, allowing Foley a lower, more rotated fall.
