Im aware theres potential weight gain... like said not sure how it acts, pathways and feedback loops it takes exactly, but theres something that caused you to pack on pounds of fat in a few month when you were skin and bones before it sounds like.. my shot in the dark guess is yoir TSH is basically zero (your thyroid hormones..). Cruise ships, airlines, hotels, etc. They're at an all time highs just like February. Most of those are shit pay jobs, and jobs =/= stocks. Cruise ships often hire from the Philippines, Malaysia and Eastern Europe and pay garbage wages for long hours. So not exactly a job youd want, the exception being bartending perhaps. I think it will be similar to 2008, most companies arent going to call back the people they furloughed or laid off lol. If youre working from home then it might stay that way. Ive met plenty of people who work from home even longer than they did when going into work. Their employer assumes because they are at home they arent busy and a typical 8-5 day turns into a 5:30am to 7:30pm day, because you have a conference call at 8am, 1pm, 4pm and 7pm. And you have to be up by 5:30 to prepare shit for the meeting at 8am. Its this instead of one or two in person meetings in a day. So let me see if I'm understanding this correctly Cant be fucked to explain it all out for you but having your emergency fund grow by 1.5% is way better than the .01% you were getting. the stock market isnt going to crash and Im not gonna explain how index funds work to you. Certificates of deposit is basically the idea that you let a bank use your money for 1 year, and they give you 2% or something small in interest back as a thank you, along with your original deposit. Theres generally a penalty if you withdraw the money before that year is up, but not with Ally. the best investment vehicles (IMO) are a 401k, HSA, (traditional Ira if your employer doesnt offer HSA and/or has a shitty 401k plan) and brokerage account with index funds. index funds follow several to hundreds of companies in the market (us and/or international) and recently average a 6-7% return.
