They went way deep into the dumb lore instead of focusing on just being a badass that kills things. The story is so stupid, and the rock paper scissors style of refilling your ammo, health and armor is just not done well. Most weapons are useless and the enemies are annoying to fight rather than fun. The game arbitrarily puts barriers in your way in an attempt for "complexity" but really it's just an annoyance you go around then launch rockets till the thing dies.Fucking thank you. The whole design of Eternal also felt like an OG Xbox game, like with the menus. --- |
