Only a couple of racial incidents I remember: one black kid was calling Indian kids Osama and his mom (who worked at the school) corrected him, which the Indian kids had a good laugh at. The other was was some black kids wanted to jump Mexicans and one Mexican who did get jumped was removed from the school (his brothers and uncle stayed though)

i remember a news segment a while ago about male lifeguards being pushed out of their careers because local parents were upset that their children were being lifeguarded by men because they were assuming they were perverts. i assume that type of belief is commonplace these days and its unfortunate. if you are x gender you aren't allowed to have y job.
