This combined with making both Luke and Leia the children of Anakin has given this franchise the expectation that powerful, talented characters need to be related to someone already established. It just felt less kiddy to me as a kid. I randomly remembered getting a PC demo disk and playing the Desperados demo over and over. But my parents always got a budget PC and I didn't really know how settings worked. So most of my experience were those little PC games like Duke Nukem and Lemmings. I did have the Virtual Springfield and Simpsons Cartoon Maker though. But I did get to experience proper PC games when I went to other friends and families places. But these are some the plot developments in the movies that I think probably didn't need to be there or done differently - Removing Boba Fett's role in the OT with a joke - Making Leia Luke's sister - Wasting a prequel trilogy movie on Anakin as a kid - Not giving the Separatist movement a centralized villain for the prequel trilogy and instead introducing a new villain in each prequel movie - Stating that there were 1000 years of peace before the prequel trilogy - Midichlorians - Giving Anakin Skywalker a 'Chosen One' prophecy - Killing off Padme with a 'broken heart' - Not establishing anything about the New Republic (outside of them being unarmed) and destroying them almost instantly - Killing off Han Solo before a reunion with the original cast - Killing off Luke at the end of TLJ - Bringing back Palpatine and making him responsible for the First Order - Rey kissing Kylo Ren - Killing off Kylo Ren - Not giving Kylo Ren a conversation with the spirit of Anakin Skywalker Thank you for reading. --- Kind Regards, Darmik |

He struck down his master so it would make sense to see him have some sort of initiation. Have a similar parallel to Rey getting power from Jedi texts with Kylo getting power from Sith teachings. There's also the First Order abducting kids during that time and gradually converting Imperial loyalists in secret. Characters like Cal from Fallen Order could have their own stories told across the entire saga.
