I will say I was honestly unaware that simply possessing closed containers of alcohol was illegal when you're under 21. I thought it was illegal to:

1. Purchase alcohol underage.

2. Drink alcohol underage.

But simple possession? I thought that was fine.

Uh, no. If the law didn't exist, the cops wouldn't have the probable cause to question/detain people are the law.

You USED to be able to drink openly on any beach in NJ. Now its limited to private beaches or restaurants/bars that have a beach section.

The reason for it is because morons cannot control themselves. People were causing ridiculous fights and people were getting hurt on government property because they were so intoxicated.

Most people who go to the beach have kids or it's people who just want to relax. Not deal with rowdy and obnoxious idiots who have zero sense of discipline to not get absolutely shit faced and cause scenes.

Many of the NJ beach towns live on the money they make from the boardwalk, beaches and amusement sections. The rule is there to protect the integrity of their beaches.

Then blame the politicians who wrote them.

Lines rarely ever get backed up where I live. You must just live in an area where people are more stupid in general

The problem is, is that this specific part of NJ has a history of problems with alcohol and drugs on the beaches.

It's a very family orientated beach town with amusements parks, carnivals and boardwalk attractions. If the town let's shut like this go constantly it hurts their image and their economy.

There are constantly fights and problems with adults and underage kids. So they are enforcing a zero tolerance rule against alcohol on the beaches.

So, if the cop is there to enforce a law or policy, why should he just ignore it rather than the person breaking the law either comply with his request or just not break the law?

2. Many in live action porn are there because they were forced, coerced, desperate or even unaware they are being filmed(or were but after a break up it was posted as revenge porn)

Let's ignore the facade. Those were hers, she was gonna drink them and got bagged. She could have given them her ID (but that would bring up her probation) and dumped out the alcohol. But that's too hard. Much easier to fight the police when you're overwhelmingly wrong.

On the other hand they then went out and overwhelmingly passed Prop 57, giving "nonviolent felons" (including having sex with a blackout drunk girl) greatly increased leniency in the name of prison reform.

Times have changed and we're in the age of information. There's always someone else who will take your money and the businesses that do scummy shit will be ousted. Also Jim Crow laws went far far deeper than simply turning down customers, I'm not sure why that keeps getting brought up.

I also question the logic of anybody celebrating this who also gave Obama shit for collateral casualties in drone strikes

It's been going on forever. The mainstream media did the same thing with the Rodney King beating, not showing what lead to the altercation.

Again, the issue with Rodney King wasn't that anyone suggested he was innocent, it was that police used excessive force / brutality to do their job.

So, knowing drone strikes aren't going to stop, they ceased improving the targeting which would reduce collateral damage and thus unnecessary loss of life, resulting in drone strikes that are going to keep causing maximum damage going forward.
