You can't stop assholes from trolling. Arrest one and a dozen more will spring up in his place.

Instead, cops should verify the information they receive before breaking into someone's home

People who get themselves killed can't recidivize either. While I'd be absolutely against the death penalty being used on them, there's nothing wrong with them getting themselves killed.

I don't believe in the Scandinavian system of prisons / justice, it's not a good long term model IMO.

And our current system is to weak / easy on criminality as is.

I root for society as a whole to be as efficient and productive as possible. The Scandinavian system has thus far proven to be far more effective than our "shape up or ship out" method.

Really how am I supposed to look at what you just said as anything other than extremely ignorant, short sighted, and petty? There's a system that's had extremely impressive results and you're just hand waving them simply because you don't like them. Lol I mean seriously man... Why do you care more about exacting revenge than doing what benefits society?

A lot of the progression in Hoenn fucked you over depending on your bike. Which was stupid. You shouldn't have to switch bikes to explore different routes. Glad they never brought back that awful mechanic.

Not to mention that one route with super tall grass that you can't bike through.

Between that and all the water routes, it's like the game is purposely trying to get you to go through the world more slowly.

There are sequels though.

PSP has Redigitize, 3DS has an enhanced version of that in Decode. They were never localized, but the PSP version has a translation patch released a while back. 3DS version's translation patch should be out later this year.

This game is basically a "remake" of the PS1 version, but with way more digimon including mega levels, and more plot/characters. Some people don't like that because it takes away from the wild feel of the first game, but I think the upsides way outweigh the downsides

https://gamefaqs.akamaized.net/screens/e/8/9/gfs_271082_2_5.jpg

Then there's Next Order on the Vita (also not localized but you can play it in English if you know how), and a much better version on the PS4. Same basic mechanics, except you raise two Digimon at once. Sounds complicated but they streamlined a lot of things so that you could raise two mons without a lot of difficulty

https://apollo2.dl.playstation.net/cdn/EP0700/CUSA05392_00/FREE_CONTENTUPXUK2vowUTv7WASnR8Z/digimon1.jpg

Though speaking strictly from nostalgia, dunno if anything will beat the PS1 version for me. These games are *amazing*, but I nothing can beat my childhood.

Yes, absolutely. If some douchebag is trying to steal my stuff, he should, at the very least, be prepared to face repercussions. I mean it's like if you tried to steal something in front of the owner and they fought back. Only this time, the owner didn't have to be there to do so :3

In this case, they literally left their bike in front of a seemingly busy area.

It's the owners fault if they were naive enough to leave their bike unattended in the public with no chains or locks of any kind to make the bike immobile...

Nobody ever deserves to be the victim of a crime, no matter how "naive" they were. The hell is wrong with you?

All I'm saying...
Is that there are ways to protect your stuff...
You know without having to kill someone...

But you're not killing anyone in this scenario.

Some idiots might end up killing themselves while trying to rob you. That's on them, and I feel no sympathy for them whatsoever

In this case its the thief responsible for the death of themselves

If someone cuts your brakes, and you rammed into the brick wall.
Would you be considered responsible for your own death?
Of course not, someone had the intention to seriously injure/kill you.
Same thing applies here, but on a smaller scale.

It literally does not. This is a horrible comparison.

It's the same crime.
You tampered with vehicle to the point where it does not operate in its intended function.
Vehicle as a result becomes a hazard, and the ultimate end result becomes death/or injury.
You happen to know about this knowledge, and use it as a means to "take justice in you own hands".

I see nothing wrong with people tampering with their own vehicles. If they wanna take off the steering wheel or remove the brakes, good for them. As long as it's in perfect working order when they decide to drive it.

If someone tries to steal that vehicle, it's on them when they realize they can't steer or brake. Shouldn't fucking steal someone's car

That's a no no because people can have legitimate reasons to enter your front door without your permission. For example, paramedics or the fire department trying to save you.

There's no legitimate reason that would allow someone to steal your bike, therefore the same logic does not apply.

But in that instance the man was perfectly willing to buy the cocaine. His behavior is "normal" for him. The police officer didn't threaten him, etc. to get him to buy the cocaine.

Putting aside that nobody should be put to jail for buying drugs in the first place, I disagree with this premise entirely. Being willing to try something doesn't make it normal for one.

Have you never tried a meal at someone's recommendation? Have you never bought something simply because someone offered it to you? Today I saw an ad online about a cheap bike so I was like oh what the hell and bought it. I wasn't seeking a bike, buying bikes isn't normal behavior for me, and it would never have been purchased if someone didn't offer to sell me it for a low price.

I'm not a druggie, but if someone offers to let me try something, I might take em up on that offer. Sure as hell won't be trying meth or heroin or any of the big boy drugs, but the willingness to try something offered to you should not make you a criminal.

I swear, some people act like impulse buying isn't a thing that exists
