I remember running into a shiny Graveler back in Platinum and just staring at the screen for five minutes trying to decide what I should do to catch it before it blew up. Luckily it survived the first turn without exploding, and I managed to catch it with an Ultra Ball on the second turn.

I'll leave it to the professionals to answer but really, from my understanding: Xenosaga was originally envisioned as a 6 part saga and part 5 would essentially be a retelling of Xenogears. There are characters and elements that strongly set this up as well. But I might be wrong - and we'll never know for sure since Xenosaga was cut short - but there's a lot of Xeno lore out there and I may not be fully up to speed.

A bit of clarification based on what I remember (it's been a while since I was into this stuff): Xenogears was originally envisioned as the 5th part of a massive 6-part saga. The saga's backstory was laid out in a Japanese databook released by the creators.
Later, after the creators of Xenogears left Square, they revised the original Xenogears backstory and used that revised story as the basis for the Xenosaga games. While the Xenosaga story in general shares major elements of what was originally created for Xenogears, many of the details were changed.
Also, the three Xenosaga games cover what was meant to be simply Episode I of the overall saga.
There's probably a lot more to say about the subject, but I fell out of touch with the fandom years ago, as I said earlier. I don't know how much additional data was released/translated since then.

It is an excellent piece, and while I don't demerit Raging Waves's quality it is actually a great rock song that sounds great throughout its entire duration, unlike many others that fail to deliver, as well as being reminiscent of Falcom's awesome style (Etrian Odyssey isn't from Falcom, right?),

It's not, however, the composer (Yuzo Koshiro) did work for Falcom back in the '80s. He composed much of the music for the first two Ys games.

We have shelves full of games around here that I could've played over the past several years, but never did. There's so many that I have no idea where I'd even start.

My first Final Fantasy game (other than Final Fantasy Legend, which isn't a real FF game anyway) was X-2. Not that I don't still absolutely love that game, but it does feel weird that I played it before even FFX.

On a somewhat related note, I'm a big fan of FFXIII and XIII-2, but I never got around to playing Lightning Returns.

I explained how it works in my earlier post. All topics on Pages 5-8 (assuming 50 topics per page) are purged at the 10-day rate. Only the topics that fall to Pages 9-15 are purged at the 5-day rate.

The way it's worded makes me think the system is slightly different: whether a topic is purged when the cleanup system runs depends on both the position of the topic on the topic list and how long ago the topic was last posted in.
For example, assuming 50 topics per page, any topic on Pages 5-8 that hasn't been posted in in over 10 days will be purged. However, if there are topics on Page 4 that are also more than 10 days inactive, they will not be purged at that time. Also, if enough topics build up that the board passes the 401 mark, only the topics on Page 9-15 will be purged at the 5-day mark, while the topics on Pages 4-8 will remain as long as they are still under the 10-day threshold.
