My favorite part in the movie is when Gandalf leaves the shire and goes to Minis Tirith to study the possibility of it being the one ring. Then he rides back to the shire in what looks like maybe a couple weeks/months had passed, but in the book its been 17 years. I think it would be hilarious if in the movie it just faded to black and said 17 years later. The average audience would be like this Wizard was off reading books for almost 2 decades!!

Can I say something about participation trophies? Im 39. I remember playing baseball, football and basketball and every year at the end of the season everyone got a small trophy. Champions got a bigger trophy, but regardless everyone got something. Participation trophies have been around for over 30 years they are nothing new. Just something the right likes to complain about.
