I doubt that's the issue. They localized Mother 1 on the fucking Wii U.

The localization was already complete in the 90s. All they had to do was change the title.

I can't believe I played all the way through that game and got every ending and every demon.

I think the main reason Nintendo hasn't spent the money to localize M3 in 2024 is because just about anyone who's going to play it has already played it.

I mean, making a JP account isn't the hardest thing in the world.

Of course you'd be playing it in Japanese. Much easier to play M3 the same way we've been playing it for the last decade.
