They work but are you sure yours is a mouse and not a rat? Mouse traps will not work on rats and vice versa.

You also gotta smear peanut butter more on the trap and not just the one spot in the back.

i have had mice twice ever and both times this worked. peanut butter in the back tray thing, they walk in and get caught.

These were what I used for the mice problem at my parents house, but like I said, smear some peanut butter on the entrance and walk way, just a very thin layer, and then put some in the back tray.

When you release them you have to go miles away otherwise they'll just come back.

Sometimes I throw the lobsters and crabs in the freezer for a couple minutes before I boil them.

Or for lobsters I stab through the top of the head to quickly kill it and for the crab I stab it twice on the underside near the middle and close to the head.

You would need to read up on a few plot points that happened in the first two seasons that carry over into 3 but just watch a recap vid and you're good to go, it's mostly its own thing.
