I've never really related to being constantly horny as a guy. I'm overweight though so maybe that's the reason. I went through a phase of doing lots of hookups, even hooking up 5 times with 5 different people in the same week, but it just made me feel gross. For some reason I'm happier when having less sex.

Maybe if I were in a monogamous relationship things would be different but I have a lot of work on myself I have to do before that can happen. :(

Personally I feel like getting off of here would be good for him. He seemed quite mentally ill (not in a disparaging way - he just didn't seem like he had much in life outside of these boards) and I kind of felt bad for him.

I'm 100 pounds overweight so yeah, I am in poor health, but I exercise at least every other day and eat pretty healthy (I'm losing weight and used to be 250+ pounds overweight) so my labs manage to be pretty good at least

Interesting that gay is more common than bi here, I always thought being bi was technically more common

I spent a lot of my childhood being on CE daily (probably age 10 - 18) and I definitely think it negatively shaped my views of people. I used to think that everyone IRL secretly hated me even if they were being nice to me because CE was so cynical. The incel mindset was really common on here even before that term was popularized.

I still come here regularly out of habit but I usually just look at the first page of topics and leave. I don't spend nearly as much time here as I used to.

I'm in a similar situation, although I've had "relationships" that were basically a serious relationship without the label. Also had a 6 month relationship with an abusive person and luckily we broke up once he started getting really bad.

I grew up under a lot of strife and developed a lot of insecurity as a result, which is the main reason I wouldn't be a good partner for something serious like moving in together or marriage. I'm very dedicated to healing though and am certain that sometime soon I'll be healthy and confident enough to be good in a relationship.

Yeah, many times. Had the same professor 3 times in community college because he was the only one who taught calc 3/data structures/algorithms, and then in university the professors switched classes all the time so I ended up having this same new professor for a university-level algorithms class, theory of computation, and discrete math. I liked her classes because she was pretty nice and young but she also had a dog that she brought to her classes because of the dog's separation anxiety. Sometimes the dog would randomly bark during class

I personally think I've lost my interest in video games since joining this site 15+ years ago (I've had many banned accounts). I do still play them occasionally but I go months without it these days. No recent titles have really stood out to me. I think when the next FF7R comes out I'll probably play that, but the first one was so short it'll probably only take me 2 or 3 days to finish.

I still only have a 401k and a brokerage account. To be fair, the brokerage account has $100k in it and I'm 25 so I feel like I'm not doing that badly. Just wish I could buy a house :( only cash offers seem to be accepted where I live for now
