For the Batman fans, any suggestions on where to start in that list? Or any that I need to read in a certain order for best effect?

As already pointed out, start with Year One, Long Halloween, then Dark Victory. Those stories kind of lead into one another and they're the perfect starting point for Batman. Other than that, there's not really a specific order you need to read in, just base it off what dates they were published. Or just read whatever you feel in the mood for. Most of those stories are self-contained, but there will still be things from continuity that won't really click with you. Shouldn't ruin the stories though.

Hush is a really good one to read whenever you feel like it. Then read Heart of Hush afterward, because it's arguably a much better story with a way way better writer (you may have heard of Paul Dini). I also like Nguyen's art more than Jim Lee's but I think that's just me.

Sooo, how about Cosmic Marvel? If you haven't touched that yet, it starts with Annihilation and it is utterly fantastic. Probably my favorite series of comics Marvel has ever done.

Although if you want some good Captain America as well, look for Brubaker's run. That way you'll also get the comic version of Winter Soldier.

And, if you feel like trying something other than superheroes, read Saga. You won't regret it.

I was heavily contemplating buying this game, because I want to see the story. But I hate fighting games.

I know I could just watch it on youtube like I did with the first game, but I might have fun playing it myself.

My only concern is that once I'm done with the story, I highly doubt I'll want to play it again because, as mentioned, I hate fighting games.

I'm torn.

Show logic is show logic; I'm only considering the comics, where a host and variety of things have been able to catch him unaware over the years; it's fine to go off the show, I just don't.

Okay, but that's not an example of his sense not working. Just working incorrectly, but it was still warning him of possible danger...

Anyway, I'm sure you're right about the Flash. He has always been possible to distract as well.

However, if someone did sucker punch him, which wouldn't be quite as fast as a bullet, then by the show's logic he should be able to feel the fist on him and react to it before it does any damage.

You'll have to start giving me some examples, because my memory ain't so good. I've read a ton of comics and I don't recall Flash or Spider-Man's senses not working except for situations that specifically inhibited them (like spider-sense not recognizing Venom as a threat). Or poor writing.

Most of the time, he is not actively using his powers.

Even so, he lazily drifts off into his hyper-sense state where everything seems to be moving slow to him because of his heightened reflexes. His powers are active even when he's not.

At least that was true for Wally. I don't know as much about Barry because he isn't Wally.

Didn't Barry feel a bullet on the back of his neck before it pierced his skin and react to it accordingly? That was in the TV show I thought.

That shit is so fucking inconsistent.

If you want an all powerful Flash though, Kingdom Come has just want you need. Flash is so fast that he's basically a constant presence throughout the city that stops crimes right as they happen.

Pokemon games in general. Although I have beaten them, but every time I start a new game I quit once I get to the Elite Four because I get bored. I've done it numerous times, especially with Fire Red.

I thought I had no preference, but looking back it seems I usually chose Grass. Even though I prefer water element, Grass just usually has more appealing Pokemon when it comes to starters.

I did choose Mudkip and Piplup, and Fennekin was the first Fire type I chose because I love foxes... too bad its evolutions are lame.

Same here. Although my previous girlfriend had a kid, and I was willing to become a step-father at some point. But since that ended, I realized I really would not have been ready for that at all, I'm not convinced I'll ever even want kids of my own now.

I got it last night and only played a little of it with my Hulk character. Got killed several times in a row and didn't even find the first bonfire... I'm a bit rusty at this game.

My main character is on a new game, so I had to speed run up to Friede, now I just gotta beat her. Although this character is on like NG++++ so we'll see how that goes...

All of my main characters are on some NG+ cycle though.
