The unseen village is a good way to rack up early echoes if you need them. Bagmen aren't hard to kill, just get behind them and charge R2 (preferably with a faster weapon) and then riposte them. Then immediately repeat the process because they'll give you a wide window. They give blood stones and lotsa echoes.

Also the chalice dungeon bosses are pretty easy at first, there's a few notable ones much deeper down that will cause issues (including a couple cheap ass mother fuckers).

Your match against BSB ended like mine did yesterday. I was poisoned, and I didn't realize I was about to die, so I hit BSB and panicked trying to get off a blood vial but I was too late! Luckily my last attack managed to kill the beast, so I still won.

I always found parrying him to be pretty easy. If that doesn't work though, just stay behind him. He's got nothing to really defend himself from the back.

Papa G still takes me a few tries to beat, but I try to be too fancy at times. Riposting him is the way to go, even in his beast form it does a ton of damage.

If you're still using the saw cleaver, neither boss should give you much trouble.

The chapel boss isn't even that difficult, but for some reason I had the hardest time with it whenever I didn't use the saw cleaver.

The saw cleaver is like the best weapon to use against him anyway. Once you learn his patterns and how to dodge his attacks, the cleaver is so fast that you can easily punish the boss.

A tip for dodging (if you didn't already know): fight the urge to dodge backwards, quickstep toward enemies instead

Same here, I could never stand being a tank in Dark Souls, nimble all the way

Once I started playing Bloodborne, it clicked for me pretty quick. The fast paced nature of the combat was much more my style and I'd still say I like it more than Dark Souls 3 (it's close).

Seriously you rarely have to transform it, you can r1 spam everything. Equivalent of straight swords in Dark Souls

The controls are usually set up for the game I'm playing anyway, so remapping them is not something I've ever been too concerned about.

Unskippable cutscenes, however, are absolutely unforgivable.

I've had Red Like Roses (from RWBY) as my alarm for years now and it never fails to wake me up on the first time.

The facial animations are kinda off to me. I'm still digging the story so far though. Just got to Firestorm/Blue Beetle.

I haven't had to play a game on easy in a long ass time. I suck at fighting games.
