There's (extremely lucrative) precedent for this now with MK8, and Nintendo won't just close the spigot on one of its most profitable franchises. Get rid of 1031 exchanges, make tax depreciation on real estate more restrictive, eliminate the ability to utilize passive losses on real estate, and raise tax rains on capital gains generated by real estate. If you alter the tax laws to make it a less attractive investment... fewer people will invest in it. Fewer people treating houses as a business investment will mean more people treating them as principal residences to actually live in. It's not a perfect solution and will take a while to see real results, but it's actually attainable and almost certainly WILL work to an extent. It tastes good, but to me, pizza is one of those foods where even the cheapest stuff is tasty enough that I have a hard time justifying triple the price for something smaller. Though I'll say the first time I tried a margherita was at a roadside pizza wagon in southern Utah of all places, and it was so delicious that it immediately became a favorite (surprisingly cheap, too). It's amazing to think that something that custardy and strange is a natural fruit. The cost is prohibitive though, at least here in the states. I felt the story was excellent in and of itself, but when I remember that this game released while George Lucas was spewing out the prequel trilogy (this was at least a decade before those films came to be re-evaluated with memetic fondness), it makes it all the more special.
