I've never played Freedom Wars, so I have no idea.

Also, Kirito and the rest of the SAO cast are still in the game as NPC's in the story. One of the online multiplayer modes is a "hero battle" mode where you play as one of the SAO characters (with preset weapons/skills) instead of your avatar, which is good for new players who don't want to get stomped because they haven't leveled up their own avatars very much yet. Even characters like Asuna and Leafa, who we never see in GGO in the anime, are in the game with new designs to fit GGO.

How good is the character creation in that game? Is it "accurately recreate waifus from other series" level or just "somewhat recreate waifus from other series" level?

The customization lets you pick from dozens of hairstyles and eyes, as well as 10 different default voices. It also gives you a good around of options for changing the body sizes to get the "proportions" right. The problem I found is that there aren't that many colors to choose from, so the chances of the exact shade of color you need for your character's hair being in the game are fairly slim. For the character I made, her hair color is noticeably lighter than it was in her anime because the right color simply wasn't there.

Now that I've gotten to play it, SAO Fatal Bullet is actually super fun. I'm really enjoying it. I made my avatar character look like a character from a different anime series that also uses a gun. Bonus points to whoever can guess which character.

The only one from the poll that I played is Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, but I'd still put a few games ahead of that. Pokemon Emerald and FR/LG, Zelda Minish Cap, Sonic Battle, and all three Fire Emblem games.

So I still can't play Fatal Bullet. I still haven't been able to get past that loading screen. I've tried restarting my system, deleting the save file and starting over again, uninstalling and reinstalling the entire game, restarting my internet... nothing will work. The game just won't let me play.

Yes, but I only go back to it to play Soul Calibur 5 since every other game I cared about is either remastered or backwards compatible on XB1 now. And with SC6 coming later this year, the last reason for me to keep a 360 around is going kaput soon.

Yeah i can't actually recall any instance in either seasons where crazy gory stuff happens, at least if its happens its either off camera, or just "general direction dismemberment" which you've said you're fine with as long as it's not overly focused into.?

Bullshit. I remember accidentally stumbling on a gif from that show of the big skeleton guy crushing some dude's body to death in a really brutal way, and I nearly puked after seeing it. So no, there is absolutely no way I'm watching Overlord. Never. You couldn't pay me to watch it.

Looking at the next season stuff, it's obviously way too preemptive

I only have two shows (Amanchu Advance and SAO Alternative GGO) picked out for next season that I know I'm going to watch. I have to go light on next season's shows because I have a whopping seven shows I'm watching right now that will continue at least into next season.

I freaking love this show so much. It speaks a lot to my childhood, but it's good outside of that.

Same, Cardcaptor Sakura is great. I re-watched the original series (with the second English dub that didn't cut anything out like the first one did) before Clear Card started and I loved it. Such a beautiful show.
