I remember this, one of the other cops even told him to slow down several times but he kept on moving fast. That alone should be enough proof of wrong doing.

From the body cam video, it seemed to me it was the shooter who was the one telling the other officers to slow down, so he could take point in front of them (because he was armed with a rifle and they had pistols)

(basically like wait up guys, stop moving forward so I can go first with the rifle)

This was very reckless in any case, that guy should lose his job and be prosecuted for recklessly firing a high power rifle in a public place like that, killing an innocent person

I most definitely dont judge the character of a person merely by how nice they are to me or in situations that are only beneficial to themselves. Those kind of people can turn out to be snakes and backstab you.

When you align with someone socially and politically then sometimes you're unable to see their wickedness. Some people aren't able to understand that just because they're nice to you doesn't mean they're nice people. You need to look at how they treat everyone to determine if they are a good person or not.

What wickedness is there about shock? Genuine question, how can you legit consider shock to be a wicked person. Thats pretty strong language.

Its doubly unfortunate because we are incredibly understanding and accepting of cis people who listen and learn in those type of conversations, where they are genuinely well meaning even through making mistakes.

Its really frustrating and ultimately a waste of our time when they come into such discussions and instead continue to defend their point, turn it into an argument, rather than taking it as a teachable moment to build relationships and mend bridges. They arent there to learn, they just want to argue instead.

I remember him saying something that was iffy, but actually taking it in when he was called out for it and accepting he was wrong. There was one user (might've been gunplagirl now that I think about it) who wouldn't let it go. Outside of that he never seemed remotely transphobic.

No he didnt accept he was wrong, he doubled down on spreading transphobic hate speech that essentially painted trans women as sexual predators / tricksters and fed into promoting the gay/trans panic defense, ran away from the convo instead of taking the L, got moderated for being transphobic, and later came back after the moderation wore off riding around on a high horse to talk shit.

It was pretty gross.

But yeah other than that, pretty cool dude!
