There's actually a small patch of grass in Peter's garden(the repel guy area). It's here that we catch a Slakoth loafing around, Lazy Sunday. After some training we go to confront Brock and fight for our first badge. The Chronic has yet to learn anything useful but Poison Powder, but we'll keep him in the party as a pivot of necessary. Brock has a full team. Guerilla Radio starts off the battle against Brock's Geodude. Two rounds of Karate Chops takes Geodude down but not before being slowed down by a rock tomb. Next up for Brock is a surprise, On our way to Mt. Moon we're drawn to the siren song of Jigglypuff, California Dreaming has joined the team. Next up, Mt. Moon. Full Gen 3 dex available, movesets changed, levels buffed, trainer teams buffed and changed for difficulty. His hacks are the best difficulty hacks in the series. --- SW-8316-3213-4720 |

Melvin's Magby comes out on the KO, Bark at the Moon makes the tag but takes a critical hit on the switch. Guerrilla Radio comes out and takes the win after a series of low kicks. The TC is talking about how the games, while having good gameplay, lack in other things. Now, if they're a conservative company that doesn't spend what they don't need to, this would explain the lack of these things. They've found a way to do it without the extra stuff. And that's fine. But that means there is room for improvement because gameplay does not have to be sacrificed for that. TC isn't complaining about any of this though. His argument is that Nintendo isn't a top developer because they don't have giant scripts and paid actors to do voices. You can claim a poor online holds them back, but how does it hold back Botw or Odyssey? The Nintendo games that require online implementat it about as much as they need to. As for graphics, yeah the game could look "prettier", but that's barely holding a game back. Do you really look at Botw, Odyssey, or Splatoon and think they need to look better? Nintendo has weaker hardware but it's usually done for a gimmick which Nintendo then pushes to its limit. What are examples of Nintendo's "cheapness" holding a game back? --- SW-8316-3213-4720 |
