Why fall through?

When was the last time you watched it? I get the hate cause I fell off after S5 back when I was a teen. Hell there was a two year wait between S4 and S5 so the expectations for S5 were high.

I gave the whole series a rewatch through a couple years back as someone in their 30s and there are a ton of great episodes scattered between S6-11. Haven't watched the most recent S12 yet.

Recommendation for you. When I was dating my wife, I'd take her out of town for dinner somewhere in NC cause you only have 2-3 decent places to eat in your city. If you want to get fancy, the Bloomsbury Bistro in Raleigh has amazing food. Then head to the Rialto theater around the corner for a movie. The Rialto was showing stuff like Studio Ghibli movies back in 2010 before that was the cool thing to do.

I can't even bring myself to buy a game if it's over $20.

No problem. Honestly it's the blind leading the blind. I'm sure you know HR isn't technically sound either and often they are the ones writing up these requirements to toss over to the recruiters.

They clearly were looking to find someone to fit the requirements HR sent over to them line by line which proves their lack of tech knowledge. A legit technical recruiter would have taken your call and at least dug into your experience with it a bit. For all they know you live and breathe OpenCV in your personal time as a hobby.

There's a small island of good recruiters in a sea of shitty ones. I still get emails from the terrible ones saying to the effect of "I see you have 14 years in IT and currently build out cloud infrastructure while living on the East coast. How would you like to move to the west coast for a 6 month contractor lvl 1 helpdesk job at $13 an hour?"

This is why I ask for the job listing and salary range up front. I'm not wasting my time on any more of their nonsense.

Also there are times the company will start the recruiter/hiring process when they are about to lay someone off. I'm the only person in my company with my job title so if I saw an open position listed with the same title, I'd know something was up.

Generally the recruiter will at least tell you the industry during the first phone call. Once you get deeper into the process, they'll tell you the company name. Also just to let you know, this first call with the recruiter isn't really an interview, it's probably fluff. Often the recruiters I talk to like this aren't technical(I remember you being a software dev) so they can't answer any technical questions you may have about the job. They are the type to ask you if you have experience with Microsoft Office even though you listed on your resume you knew Word, Excel, PP, etc.

Yes. Most recruiters won't list the company name. Among other things, it prevents you from applying directly to the company which makes the recruiter lose out on pay. They don't get paid until they place someone in a job.

This is it. I decline any meetings that I know can be solved in a couple IMs. I sure as shit am not going to accept a meeting where I don't even know the topic of discussion. There needs to be some sort of preparation prior to the meeting so the meeting is productive.

Probably like 10 hours. Sometimes things come up that require a lot more actual work. Part of my job is being available to respond to things that come up but I am basically shitposting while doing that.

This is about right. Toss in some project work here and there.

I have scoliosis which I feel may be causing some issues as I grow older. Also, I got a back injury and nerve damage in a car accident when I was 9. Required physical therapy and such.

So my back has always caused some issues. It has gotten worse as I get older and lazier. It's not quite to the point that I feel I need to seek treatment or anything. Just basically a mild ache most of the time, and some pain if do too much. Occasionally I'll get a catch in it that kind of puts me out of commission for a bit.

I don't think any of that is caused by my age(40), but it is making it easier to agitate existing issues.

Do you exercise or stretch at all Koga?

Those all you can eat sushi places are great. Yeah they aren't the best quality but it allows you to try different sushi and whatever other fried noodle/rice dishes they also offer. Like any other buffet style restaurant, how much you eat determines how good of a value it is. These places make their money from the people who only eat 1-2 plates of food.

Yes my rhomboid and scapula muscles are always hurting but I got stuff to massage them and they feel so good and cures them for the day but the pain comes back the next day.

That's from poor posture cause I have issues with those same muscles. No one ever taught me to sit up straight as a kid so my default is to slouch. Look over your desk setup from an ergonomic perspective. Are your monitors at the correct height? Chair position, how you sit in your chair, how you reach for your mouse/keyboard. Also take a couple minutes(seriously 2-3 minutes) every morning to do some basic stretches. Randomly stand at your side in the bathroom mirror a take a picture of yourself, you'll probably be shocked at how much your slouching. You'll need to be conscious every time you're walking of "am I standing up straight right now?"

Just to warn you, your back will hurt a lot when making these changes cause it's going against your default (bad) habit. You're retraining your body. Might take a couple weeks before the pain will go away.

I try my best not to look at all the online fan discussions, dirtsheets, etc like I did as a teenager for WWE and TNA. It just turns you into a hate watching fan of the product. With AEW/ROH, I just watch the product for what it is and it's been a big difference in enjoyment.

Enjoy. As much as I love Kiryu and the beat 'em up gameplay, LAD/Y7 was fantastic from both a gameplay and characterization standpoint.
