Making a PC game that doesn't have an option to quit straight to the OS from gameplay. Why do I have to go through multiple menus, separated by lengthy loading screens, logo animations and online profile checks, just to stop playing?

these battle tactics tutorials are nice. They're designed as the characters talking to eachother about what their skills do and they let you know which ones break and topple and whatnot

As (rightfully) infamous as the dance mode is, the main adventure mode of that is quite fun. If nothing else, making Force gestures in real life and having them actually work is pretty awesome.

I loved the trailer, but I've seen people suggest that it's not so much a Scooby-Doo film with cameos from the H-B universe as it is a Hanna-Barbera Universe crossover with the most marketable franchise's name slapped on it. Any truth to that?

There's an old shareware (now freeware) shooter called Traffic Department 2192. Its protagonist, Marta Velasquez, is a colossal bitch. Her own side hates her more than they hate the alien cult they're fighting, to the point that one of them sabotages their final assault on the alien base by blowing up the helicopter she's on just because they can't stand her any more. She survives, gets cyborg implants, and later twists her own wingwoman's head off in a fit of cyber-psychosis.

The gameplay is basic at best, but the between-mission dialogue is amazing.

IIRC, it was one of those online co-op crafting survival things (gods, how did that become a genre?), and I only remember reading about some drama where it was shut down immediately, possibly without even leaving early access, because Kickstarter or something. But it probably existed! Briefly.

EDIT: A quick Steam tag search suggests that the most recent game with 'Dinosaurs' and 'Shooter' that isn't either a Turok port or absolutely bloody awful shovelware would be... Carnivores: Dinosaur Hunter Reborn, a reboot of an old dino-shooting series, followed by Primal Carnage: Extinction. Both are from 2015 and look... okay.

T3 is easily the worst. It took the mantra of the series (the future isnt set) and replaced it with nah bro were screwed no matter what you do.

I personally subscribe to the theory that the T-850 was lying about Judgement Day being inevitable. Its mission was to get John into that bunker, not stop the war. "But wait," you might say "Why would John, or even whatsherface, prioritise his survival over stopping the war?" Simple-

The T-850 is working for Skynet. Remember, in the future of T1, the resistance had won. Skynet sent back the T-800 as a last second act of desperation and it failed. In the 'first' iteration of the timeline, Skynet was fucked. Come T3, when Skynet's development has been delayed several years while internet technology improves, Skynet's in the cloud. That technology didn't exist the first time round. By trying to stop it, the Connors took away its only weakness. Now, the resistance can't win, and Skynet knows this. It needs Kyle Reese to tip off Sarah Connor so that she'll go after Cyberdyne. In order to win the future, Skynet has to save John Connor.

Of course, there's still plenty of holes in this theory, but it does (IMO) make a bad film a bit more interesting.
