If you're playing New Horizons (the latest) yeah it's pretty boring. It didn't help that the villagers were super bland up until the very latest patch or that all of the holidays are not included in the core game (they have to be downloaded during certain times, which is crap). All the random islands you can visit are boring and dull, and there's no awesome mini games you can play there. Add to that now you have to craft basic tools just to do anything - and they break all the time - and it just doesn't cut it with me. And you can't even collect all the fruit without visiting other players! It sounds dumb, but it shouldn't depend on multiplayer for something basic like stupid fruit. Pretty much the only things it really has going for it are better graphics, a way better museum, and that you can put stuff outside now. It lacks in nearly everything else.

The previous one, New Leaf, is really awesome though. That's my favorite by far. Definitely give that a shot if you can.

Yeah, I'm playing New Horizons. I came into it with an open mind, I really did. But wtf....I feel like I am playing an elaborate custom avatar/homepage creator. If that makes sense.

I've just beaten Hades and Bloodborne to death. I am wanting to play something closer to Diablo with skill trees and classes. I am kind of burned out on Diablo itself. I remember playing a "hammerdin" in Diablo II, and thinking the game was ridiculously easy. I played Diablo III a lot, but it was glitchy, crashed, online play was laggy with desyncs. It got better after awhile, but it just felt like I was killing the same boss over and over "for legs."

Any suggestions? Please help.

Is it just me or do Black Friday deals seem to be getting worse? I remember in the 00s/early 2010s when they would have huge TVs for like $150. There would be a line of people extending to the parking lot. 70% discounts on high demand items and people punching each other to grab one.

Now it seems like a 15% discount is being advertised as the "insane" Black Friday deal.

Borderlands 2 is up there for sure,

I forgot about Borderlands 2. I guess for some reason it feels like a 2009 release to me for some strange reason. But yeah, Borderlands 2 is one of the best games of all time.

If you can remake Secret of Mana, and Trials of Mana, you can remake Chrono Trigger.

I'd love to play a Chrono Trigger remake made on the Trials of Mana engine. Just have a different team write the script, and hire quality voice actors, and voice directors.
