As he often uses Charlie just to make some money. As far as the actual Nightman stuff goes, the full lore/fan theories connected to it are incredibly disturbing. And I almost nominated the original Nightman song instead, but I think it sort of suffers from the same problem. Where Charlie doesn't exactly view him as a villain. --- Congrats azuarc! I had the impression that Automata was set in the same world, but so far in the future compared to the first game that their overarching stories weren't very connected. Are there enough references to the original that I'll be missing out if I skip it? I never played the original Nier and I adored Automata, I'd say it's pretty standalone. There's some references I didn't get, but it really didn't affect my enjoyment. Evillordexdeath posted... Danganronpa: I guess I'll just play this game itself rather than resorting to a synopsis. It looks like the earliest American release for both Danganronpa games was on the Vita in 2014, so I'll play it once the topic reaches that point. Yeah this is probably the best call. As inferior as DR1 is to the other games, it is pretty vital to understanding the story of DR2. Plus the anime sucks and playthrough topics of DR are always fun. --- Congrats azuarc! Dude literally all of the main seven have acted equally selfish in one way or another. Also why such fervant Shirley hate to begin with? Which in turn causes the skewed number in police brutality cases. | BetrayedTangy 06/18/20 1:01:21 PM #7 | JFA is my favorite, T&T is close, but I just personally enjoy JFA's 2nd and 3rd cases more than T&T's. Now in regards to the sequel trilogy, I agree DD is really weak. Between fixing the issues in AJ and putting a fresh spin on the game, while still staying true to originals it was a lot to juggle and the game feels like sort of a mess as a result. With SoJ though they definitely pick up their stride though. It's still got flaws don't get me wrong, but it's a pretty strong entry. I also heard AAI2 is phenomenal, so if you can find a way to the play or watch that, I highly recommend it --- Congrats azuarc! You crushed it in the GotD2 Guru challenge! |
