I preferred everything about 5 to 3 so far lol. Both are amazing though. Will play 4 sometime after beating 3. I was in the middle of playing MGS4 when I started playing 5 and haven't gotten back to it so I'll probably finish that first.

i dont mean as a gimmick for an episode, but actually takes over the role.

Terry had the entire Batman Beyond cartoon and various comics. Though his comics suffered from premature endings and bad editoral decisions. Dick Grayson was Batman for a years before New 52 made him Nightwing for no reason.

it's dumb to set up a cool new take on Peter Parker and then make him retire after only one game. he's still like only 24 years old. anyway, most of the historical Spider-Man games throughout history were total trash so they don't count.

He's at DC right now. He took Superman's beloved son and aged him up through magic and basically destroyed Superman's family for a few years

There's a lot of conflict I'm reading into here.

But honestly, the reason people are okay with Miles is because Peter still exists. For Batman, you'd have to have a second Batman which i believe we have...just not as exciting.

As for Barry Allen, aren't there a few Flashes that get decent exposure?

For Bruce we have Terry and Dick as established replacements and Damien as a potential replacement. Dick and Bruce can co-exists as Batman as evidenced by Batman Inc.

As for the Flash, Wally took over the mantle for about 30 years and became a beloved character. Then DC editorial brought back Barry, completely erased Wally, rebooted him as a different character, eventually brought him back to make him a hero murderer, and now he's dead again? Bart's character was destroyed by reboots. Jay is in limbo.
