Gendered changing rooms have always been intentionally discriminatory towards anyone who doesn't have the specified genitalia required to enter. Its the whole point why gendered changing rooms exist and is firmly ingrained and accepted by most of society. Its not that confusing. Besides, the Wii U came at a time when every casual gamer was buying up everything with the Wii name on. More confusing is Microsoft's naming structures. What is a XBOX Series X? How is that different from a XBOX Series S? Sure we gamers know, but not the casual public. Sony has the right idea. 5 comes after 4 which comes after 3. Whether those other people are old or young, ugly or attractive doesn't come into it. I cover myself up when changing underwear to swimming shorts or drying myself. Some men though are happy to walk around the changing room naked without a care in the world for who sees. One swimming pool I go to has a mixed gender changing room but you're only allowed to be naked within your own cubicle. You still have to shower with your bathing costume on.
