Plus it's a lot more mobile. And it's tough and lasts years. The iPad Mini 2 for example is still perfectly fine for tackling any app you throw at it. I definitely don't think they are necessary in any sense of the word, but they have their own little niche carved out. Which means they aren't for everyone. Which is probably why the sales of them have slowed down. Because people are realizing there is no need to run out every year and replace their iPad the way they do their iPhones. I don't think TC will find anything else with the speed or mobility of an iPad at the price point he's paying. --- |

Sure, most of us here can spot this shit from a mile away, but what about all of the other people that aren't as discerning? And the worst part is Amazon advertises these scams as "best sellers". So people who don't know go to buy them and get scammed. This damages their image of Amazon. At some point, all these scams that Amazon allows are going to create a big enough backlash that they will either lose customers(Walmart.com and Bestbuy.com are trying to expand their footing) or they will be hit with some sort of a lawsuit. Even if the lawsuit wouldn't lead to a judgement against them, it will be bad press. The conditions in their warehouses are reported to be terrible. But people look the other way because they like to order inexpensive stuff and have it promptly delivered to their door. But their deliveries have been getting shittier every year, and they are no longer the cheapest option for many products. If people also can't trust Amazon to deliver a safe shopping experience, then what the hell do they have to offer? --- |
