If you're interested in Switch, from experience I can say Nintendo is very willing to look at all applications and it seems pretty easy to get approved these days. The dev kit's easy to work with and it isn't insanely expensive like some other consoles (but not quite an insignificant amount either)

How did you get Nintendo to look at Switch applications? From my understanding they have it easily accessible for Wii U and not switch.

Looks good, but now the ice needs to be of the same style. And the ground should have some elements that only pop up a couple pixels, like piles of snow.

Also, a cool touch would be having the snow physics based (sand game style) so it makes piles you can interact with.

Gotta up that quality if you want that $$ on steam imo

I'm all for graphical updates. Having snow pile up isn't really what I'm trying to go for. Also that's the first world. The grassy one I posted earlier is the 2nd world, the one that's being demoed.

Shotgun is imo easier to hold and fire. Plus it has a better chance of hitting the bad guy at closer range. Possibly more intimidating as well.

I kinda agree. Handguns are a bit more scary because of how small and seemingly volatile they are. Shotguns are big and have a biiiig action to work. So there's no way you're accidentally setting the thing off if you're careful.

Nah, that's too much. The point is to be a simplistic as possible, was going for a VVVVVV style and failed, made too many colors. Plus the camera is fixed and you move from screen to screen.

Just lemme know what you're looking to do and I could give you a rough estimate on what I'd charge. I feel like I'd probably do it for cheap considering there's not a ton of detail in that screenshot.

Yeah for 3 damn years on and off. Steam is having an event in June where you can showcase your game with a demo + live event. I figure I would put some fire behind me to participate in this event, and so I am. Trying to get a decent demo thrown together that looks nice. Gameplay doesn't need to change much. Just need some polish.

That's a valid point, but I think someone needs to define how much testing is satisfactory. Like everyone says "we need to test more," which more testing is good. But no one is saying "well how much testing is enough?" The US has more testing done then UK, France, and a few other leading testing countries combined. Should we keep testing? Yes. But when do we stop or slow it down?

No at 5% it would double in less than 20 days since it compounds if it stayed at 5%. But it's been dropping.
