I hate that there's missable Nintendo Gallery figurines in Wind Waker, even in the HD version.

Her brief clip as Rosalina sounded pretty good. I'm looking forward to it! She's known to be a Nintendo super fan.

Not familiar with Ben Safdie, and his voice for the character was not something I was expecting, but I'm not mad about it. He sounds like a mini Bowser/Jack Black essentially.

Brie Larson sounds great. I'm looking forward to it.

Also enjoyed all of the references to other games. Not just Galaxy ofc, but I also saw nods to Wonder and Odyssey. Plus we're still getting Yoshi.

Reminds me of memes I've been seeing of clips of people's houses caving in or being destroyed before it cuts to gameplay footage of battles taking place on the roofs of buildings. Like the Aunt May praying scene from Spider-Man 1.

I came so close to replacing Sonic with either Donkey Kong or Link, but I figured Sonic was perhaps a bit more recognizable and influential than those two, given the Sonic brand outside of video games (merch, media/entertainment, pop culture, etc.). Plus I figured more "outside-of-the-loop" audiences, like older generations and non-gamers, would still likely be able to at least identify who Sonic is over the other two, maybe. But idk. Tell me your thoughts.

Wonder if they'll follow a specific game's plot or just mash several different ones altogether.

Got the boot back in June due to company budget cuts and have spent the last five months looking for work with no success. Got a call out of the blue from my old supervisor last week saying that my position was opening up again and asked if I'd be interested in coming back. Said yes. This afternoon he reached out to extend a verbal offer.

I start in two weeks. Same position and pay, but different hours. While I'm extremely grateful to be getting a paycheck again, there was a lot about the job I didn't like unfortunately. Plus my hours will now be overnights, which will be a huge and probably challenging adjustment. But I'm trying to stay positive! Thankfully I had a great supervisor who made the initiative to reach out and offer me the job, which he didn't have to do.

Never said it aloud, but thought about in regards to my asshole old roommate and his insane ex-gf. They really seemed to try to outdo each other's craziness during their screaming matches that went well into night, sometimes even 1 am. Had the cops called on us once.

lol. Google AI is so ridiculously wrong half the time, and it's scary how many people accept the info it spouts at face value without checking other sources.

On every social media platform, whenever anyone asks a question, there will always be at least one or two people who tell you to just "look it up" and do your own research instead of asking the forum for help. This is especially noticeable in various gaming communities. I honestly will never understand how some users get so put out by this sort of thing - message boards and threads surrounding a particular topic exist for a reason. If you don't want to help, just ignore it, right? No reason to go out of your way to call someone out over something so trivial just because you don't like it. Plus when you Google things, you'll often see a lot of folks asking the same questions on different platforms, hence the need for discussion in the first place.

Not saying that you shouldn't look things up on your own as well, but I think asking for help generates discussion within the community, and can be as much a part of the research process as looking things up on your own.

Not that it's right or wrong, but I thought it was obvious that it's a philosophical/moral concept. The argument is that material possessions or monetary wealth don't lead to pure "happiness", it's the simple things in life like having solid relationships and a core value/belief system and whatnot.

Yes, as long as they're nice. Only stay at them while on vacation, so it always feels like a fun little getaway.

Being up at 2am when you're at home and kinda just doing nothing isn't anything like being up at 2am cause you have to work.

At my last job I'd occasionally have to work well into the night, sometimes even to 1 am, so I'm familiar with working late hours in that regard. I've also had to wake up at 3:30 am for other jobs.

As a (wannabe) emo kid in high school, TNBC was like our sacred text in my circle of edgy, dark teenagers in the mid-00's lol. Plus merch was everywhere, like at Hot Topic. I think it still is.

People who brag about their supposed superiority over a game's difficulty is never warranted lol. Especially over a topic that's largely subjective. The whiners who complained about the MK World patch that made things like Knockout Tour "easier" were particularly insufferable. Accessibility is key.

Depends on your age.

I did them in my early to mid twenties. Physically it sucked until my body adjusted and then it was fine. The bigger problem was how it completely murdered my social life.

I'll actually be 32 in two days... feel caught somewhere in between young and old, lol.

Only advice I have that hasn't been said yet is find a sleep schedule that works for you... Some people on my crew sleep as soon as they get off, some people stay up and then sleep before work, and others like me split our sleep into smaller increments in the day...

Yeah I'm most concerned about finding a sleep schedule... since I'd get home by 10:30 - 11-ish in the morning, I think it'd be ideal to go to bed right away, and then awake up around 4 or 5 pm in time to greet my husband and have dinner together. But I'm trying to factor in when I'd go to the gym, which is pretty important to me. I might do that straight after work and then go to bed after that instead.

I also take Phenergan (an antihistamine you can get over the counter that knocks you out but has a long half life, making it hard to get up if you take it too late) and Melatonin to force myself to sleep after coming home.

I'm about to get my old job back, but my new schedule will be the complete reverse from what I had been doing: 1:30 am - 10 am. Idk entirely how I feel about that or how to prepare, so any tips/suggestions/advice/anecdotes from people who work or have worked similar hours and how you adjusted your schedule is greatly appreciated.

I'm already naturally a night owl (I usually don't fall asleep till like 2 or 3 am) so I'm not super concerned about getting tired during my shift. It's more so afterwards when I'm home and finding time in the day to sleep, eat, workout, do chores, and have a social life.

Too hard. I can finish an easy one even if it's sluggish. Hard ones I'll usually give up if it becomes too difficult/taxing. There's a threshold when something becomes too challenging to enjoy for me.

What is the best Nintendo home console IYO? And how would you rank them?
