I suspect that's also why trading cryptocurrency is generally much more accessible and 'user-friendly' than trading stocks and bonds (plus the fact that it's bound by fewer rules and regulations).

| Aressar 08/28/23 5:22:20 AM #23 | I'm relatively intelligent (or at least always had potential for it), but I've always had terrible concentration which has been a massive obstacle throughout school and made me insecure about my abilities. On top of that, the things that I was good at or was interested in were generally things that made for poor career opportunities (like linguistics, history, acting, athletics).
I ended up as a security guard and eventually got a degree in English (as a second language). Tried teaching, which didn't feel stimulating at all. Ran my own translation business for a while. Although I'm great at the actual translation work, I suck at running a business (especially the sales/markteting part). Although it's a living, it makes me feel like a failure sometimes, like I can do better but miss a lot of opportunities. Right now I'm considering applying for a vacancy of security/facilities supervisor. The fact that I have a uni degree and a lot of experience in the security branch does give me something of a chance, but it's a lot more responsibility than I've ever had and might be too big of a ramp up, which gives me second thoughts. Except he did it by jamming a big space rocket in some big rock colums and launching it westward, to stop the world from rotating. Half the planet froze and the other half became pretty hot.
