It's likely that the internet age has enabled socially awkward people to remain that way and not start developing their social skills when they get to college age, but equally they internet provides a platform for these types to make themselves visible which maybe just makes the numbers look worse.

I don't see it ever having the sort of library for it's time that the SNES or PS2 had, it's already just not getting a lot of the big third party games.

I'm seeing it more like an N64 - a small tight library of absolute classics but never truly threatens the mainstream like it's rivals in terms of third party support and sales.

I owned and enjoyed both as a kid, but liked Zelda I more. I reckon someone coming to it for the first time today would still get something out of it (albeit not a lot) whereas they'd probably hate Zelda II.

Fruit machines in the UK have a lot more gameplay involved but I don't think you really get them in America.

Electronic paper technology will make a big change at some point. Have it folded in your pocket to phone size for general use, unfold it out to tablet size to watch a YouTube video, fully unfold it to newspaper size on a table to play an interactive board game with your friends.

Because lots and lots of people like them, I guess.

When we come to upgrade we'll probably get one because they've came down a lot in price in the last year or so. But my 9 year old Sony Bravia is still going strong and has never had a problem - I bought it before my now wife and I even moved in together!
