Spoilers: corporation taxes fluctuate greatly year to year so looking at one year (and only federal taxes while ignoring all other taxes) is pretty flawed but a good way to make a clickbait article for people who barely understand their own taxes.

Like, I work for a pest control company and a lot of my stops are checking termite traps outside customer houses, even if they're not home. But frequently I get neighbors of said houses coming out, getting aloof and asking me what I'm doing, taking photos of my car's plates, saying they're gonna call the cops, etc...

I get that they're looking out for themselves, but like, idk, I have a uniform and only work in the daytime, and most towns in this area have really low property-crime rates. Besides, I have red hair and my car is bright-green. I'd be the shittiest burglar on the planet considering how easy it is to identify me lol.

I've been a liberal my entire life, and I'm embarrassed by the extreme left. Their use of digital vigilantism, their complete abandonment of the concepts of education and rehabilitation, their lack of empathy, etc. are so fucking backwards. They're worse than conservatives - who at least attempt discourse, even if it's not civil.

Obama was a great dude, and did tons of great things -- but they'll never acknowledge that because they can't think on a smaller scope and look at individual issues.

The lefty hate for centrists is about you all you need to know to see that they're on the wrong side.

There are clearly more than two sides, though.

I'm not even sure why you guys are debating this part, it's nothing to do with the original point being made - which is that women can and do use men for sex, and that it can be empowering for women to feel freely allowed to enjoy sex for themselves.

"Women don't enjoy sex as much as men according to these studies, therefore women only give men sex to objectivy themselves for the benefit of men". See how that sentence makes zero sense, how the conclusion is entirely alien to the premise...

Sexism isn't really about what's fundamentally good/bad for women/men, it's about seeing men/women as X and then treating them in such a way that is not equal (or more accurately, fair) based on that perception.

In this case, the guy treating women better wasn't because they deserved better or because he respects women. It was entirely rooted in his own fantasy of being the Daddy. He wanted to save them, because women are precious (in his mind), and need help to do basic tasks. Quite patronising really, even if it ultimately did mean the women were better off.

If you start your premise with the idea that they're doing it for you, you run into this exact problem.

What a stupid way to invest. You usually only get one degree. You don't make calculations based on what the "average" degree is worth, you make them based on what YOUR degree is worth. This isn't rocket science.
