You don't need a CRT for Melee anymore with Slippi, all the Melee pros say it is just like playing on a CRT. Plus it is free, with online ranked/unranked matchmaking and nearly lagless rollback net code.

It was really clever, but the most jaw dropping reveal for me by far was book 3.

He's an animagus. By the name of Peter Pettigrew.

Then the movie basically glossed over this and all of the Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs stuff. Pissed me off even though the movie was fairly well done otherwise.

Yeah the Scabbers reveal was insane, especially since he had been around for 3 books. As far as "ending twists" I would go 3>2>1>4. 5/6/7 didn't really have major mystery reveals I don't think, at least not like the first 4 books.

A lot of people rank the book last, but I thought it did a great job invoking a sense of horror. You never knew who was going to be attacked next.

I'm surprised, it was probably my favorite because it was the only one that wasn't just a "we must stop Voldemort's evil plan!!" plot (even though the twist ending up being Riddle = Voldemort lol). But I can see how a lot of people didn't like it, it is basically just a filler book when you look at the whole series.

I am a huge fan of the comic, and the TV show was way better than I expected it to be. It was a great story, had tons of call backs to the original comic, but was also pretty much a brand new story w/ mostly new characters. I was surprised how well they were able to capture the spirit of the original story, but tackle new themes and story arcs. A God Walkes in Abar was one of the best episodes of TV I have seen in a long time. My only problems were that the whole "costumed heroes" thing took a pretty big back seat unfortunately, and there was no real overarching threat in the show like the Cold War in the comic, where there was a real race against the clock to try and save the world from nuclear war which could happen any day once Manhattan went to Mars. Plus the ending I thought was the weakest part:

It was a lot different than the comic, where we had a very morally conflicted ending, the "villain" was actually saving the world and goes unpunished. Really left the reader with a ton of questions on what it means to be a hero, a villain, etc. The Show just ended with each villain getting their punishment, even Ozymandias got exposed and arrested, it makes me think that Lindelof purposefully wrote the ending to be as much of a 180 on the original ending as he could. The villains were also really flat, no deeper conspiracy or reasoning behind them. I thought we would get some hidden motive behind the white supremacist group, but nope. I thought Lady Trieu would have some sort of surprise motive, but nope she is just a selfish mad scientist. No big reveal of motives on the villains like Ozy killing millions w/ the squid to save the world from nuclear war, everything was just basic.

I don't think you understand how fast the MLB speedsters are. Just looking at the 2017 college baseball graduates, the top 100 runners were all at least a full 2 tenths of a second faster than the current women's world record for the 60 yard dash (6.92 seconds). And the vast majority of these players didn't even get drafted lol despite playing college baseball.

Maybe in an earlier era we could have had a female pitcher if they could throw some outrageous pitch like Tim Wakefield's knuckle ball (he only had a 75 mph fastball), but it is extremely rare for a woman to even throw in the 80's, let alone 90's, while there are thousands of boys who can throw 90's. In the current era with such dominant pitchers, no way someone could squeeze in pitching so slow.

This also rules out pretty much every other fielding position, since you have to be able to throw very hard w/ how fast the runners are. Maybe they could play first base or be a DH, but then you get to the batting side. Looking at golf, another swinging sport, where the men average significantly longer distance on their drives compared to women. Women average about 12% shorter drives than men, but even the absolute best woman can't even crack the top 200 in drives for the PGA. So even if you get some girl who can actually hit a long ball, again there are thousands and thousands of guys out there who can hit it just as far.

This is something I would do before interviews too when I was nervous, the "fake it till you make it" concept. Similar to how if you force yourself to smile while you feel like shit, you will actually feel a little better. If you stretch out a bit in the waiting room, it will make you feel more confident for the interview.

It was obvious they wouldnt ever have evil humans all the way back in Halo 2, when you dont encounter a single marine in all of the Arbiters missions.

ONI would have been a perfect main antagonist for Halo 5, manipulating events between the remaining covenant factions and even the humans to get to some secret macguffin. Keep it totally ambiguous with Master Chief... should have not even had blue team in a mission honestly, have it all focus on Locke and dealing with MCs betrayal and ONIs manipulation.

Serin Osman has been a great antagonist in the books and would work great here, a former Spartan who leads ONI and hates the Spartan program. This works into Halo 4 also, where people were looking back into the Spartan program and really turning against it, even though they saved the galaxy several times.

Then have the game end with Cortana emerging as the puppet master, moving all the pieces into place so she could take over the guardians and put the galaxy into darkness, same ending we get in Halo 5.

I agree, the whole squad mechanic was not done very well in the campaign. Also having to fight the same boss like 8 times was very stupid. I did kind of like the non combat missions, those were a decent change of pace. They needed more rewards and motivators to go exploring though.

The story is my biggest problem. The original marketing for the game was great, Locke is hunting down Chief who went rogue for some reason. However the actual story has no mystery at all. We know why Chief went rogue (which was pretty lame tbqh), we know where he is, but now we just have to slog with Locke's team for several missions that have 0 bearing on the overall story. Like how is the Arbiter and his forces STILL about to get overrun by some new Covenant force? A force that you kill the leader of in the very first mission? It is time to move on from them as an enemy. It should have been something better, like The Banished from Halo Wars 2 (seems like they could be the villains in Halo Infinite though).

There was just no mystery, no surprises, no epic moments, no memorable enemies, no plot twists. By far the worst campaign in the series.
