No, because April is white. While her melanin is not an important part of her character's development - it would be like saying Abe Lincoln is black. There's nothing wrong with it, it's entirely neutral, only one is actually true.

Ackshully her race was not made apparent in the original black and white mirage comics and when other artists took over later in the run she was sometimes depicted as being black.

Pretty much. I've been treated like garbage here my entire life. In the prairie provinces at least, if you aren't a social butterfly and a huge alcoholic then you're automatically a creep and a drain on society. If your a socially awkward guy like me you'll be ostracized and alienated.
My best friendships have been formed through online gaming, Americans specifically from California seem like really cool people.
Sometimes I feel like I was born in the wrong Country and I would've been treated better elsewhere.
