The head's unprotected and Plagas don't spawn from them. Nowhere near as bad as you think.

These new Las Plagas victims... former soldiers or something? Mercenaries? There was this big fat guy with a machine gun, he was like a miniboss, dude killed me with his stupid gatling gun. Had to unload my bb on him.

What is this island? The first area was villagers, then the castle, now this... they've got fucking rocket launchers of their own! Best thing about that was the friendly fire though, the dude just ended up killing his mates lol.

And there were these terrifying guys in weird masks that had those electric batons, you know the ones?

Defeated them all, that was some intense shit. Just entered some kinda building now

Also made a separate save file right before the Salazar fight so that I can see what different ways I can fight him without using the rocket launcher.

Also was anyone else annoyed that a snake was hiding in a barrel? They usually hide in the boxes so I was completely unprepared and it just sprang out at me. Did the same thing happen to everyone else their first time through? Only got a white chicken egg as well... meh just used it up instantly.

I can't believe this moment is finally here. Collecting treasures like crazy here. Using up my rocket launcher has freed up a lot of space, which is a good thing too since there's enough weapons here to fight a small army.

That was... lolol. So there's this giant eye on a tentacle thing right, and I shoot it and then Salazar emerges from a cocoon in a typically grotesque form. On a whim I decided to take out my rocket launcher, aimed, and... BOOM. He died just like that. I was like wait what, thinking it was a trick. But he dropped pesetas and everything.

Lol that was quick and easy, I was taken aback. Even the Alien looking monster didn't die with the rpg, and yet Salazar dies. Speaking of I realized that's the right hand man he was talking about! Salazar always has 2 bodyguards with him when he walks around, with inverse colored robes red and black. As terrifying as that fight was I'm sad we don't get to fight the other bodyguard, he just kinda merges with the giant Plagas thing attached to the wall. Was hoping to fight him individually and get more money.

Oh... Oh my god. Oh my god. I'm finally fighting Salazar, and he's a monster, in a giant Las Plagas shell thing. Just monsters... well after this there'll be one less monster I have to worry about.

The real shame is that there's no playable version on ps4. Why double fine didn't want to do a proper version instead of a shoddy port for the ps2, the most popular game system of all time, is a complete mystery.

More enemies coming from downstairs. Hah now I'm in charge of the barrel dropping lever! Revenge!

Giant moving statue that can crush me? Ha. I feel like this game has completely desensitized me to the violence. There's nothing it can throw at me anymore that will scare me, I guarantee it.

A girl falls out of the sky and wakes up with no memory. But whenever she's with her pet cat she can control the gravity around her and use it to fall (fly) in any direction. You fight the monsters attacking the city you're in while trying to figure out stuff about her past. And you also do side missions for people around the city

Just checked YouTube and I like the voice actors for ratchet and clank, if the same guys I'm buying it since I was worried they might change the voices and personalities (ironically the 1st r&c game has a ratchet with a different voice compared to the rest of the series)

So r&c I'm getting. Anything else? Maybe a hidden gem or forgotten game I missed in the last 4 years? I almost forgot about Ys 8 as an example, and I had been hyping that game beforehand.

Out of those, think I might get ratchet and clank but I already played the originals and not sure about this reboot. Is it just the same game as the first one, just a remake of the first game? Might buy if on sale for cheap.

I bought arkham city, decided to try persona 5 (hope it's good) and ff 12 port. I have liked rpgs, but not any rpgs, just certain kinds.

I like platformers as well, and have thought of crash trilogy though I own the originals.

Been thinking of getting back into assassin's creed.

Lastly, I hear shadows of mordor is similar to Batman so been thinking of getting that.

Damn those facehuggers! This game has a few things reminiscent of Alien it seems. Was trying to aim and shoot the lights on the ceiling spikes when they just attacked me. Hell yeah treasure and one of them dropped a magnum ammo! I've noticed that if my gun clip is empty or near empty I'm more likely to get ammo drops from enemies. Coincidence or some truth to that?

A lot more villagers here and what seems to be some completely decimated buildings and rubble. Have we like doubled back or something

Finally some moonlight, and fresh air! I... wait, where the hell am I? Are we even still on the castle grounds or have we left the confines of the castle.

ALL. MY. RAGE. I got through the entire section with all those damn things just to be flattened to death by one of those dropping pillars.

Noooo more of those damn insect things?! I thought I killed them all when I destroyed their nest. God they're annoying. Thanks to the user Who told me to shoot them out of the sky, that definitely helps to take care of them easier.

That was intense. Remember those giants with the Las Plagas on their back? Now 2 of them appeared in this furnace area. What looked like a clear trap door (or trap circle?) was in the middle and I knew there had to be a way to get them to fall into it. I only managed to make one of them fall in though. They didn't even give me his treasure, and I actually died because he grabbed Leon and dragged him into the volcano pit while I was busy fighting the other monster!

Decided from now on to use the broken butterfly only for these tough larger than life enemies, and use my other guns on normal enemies. Every magnum ammo that I find in a crate (once in a blue moon) or dropped by an enemy (like once) is a godsend.

Oh well, 15,000 pesetas is better than nothing. At least I didn't waste ammo on the first giant. Damn I hope we get out of this tunnel area soon.

Never thought I'd see another chainsaw freak. I was ready for him this time. I've developed a tactic where I wait for the enemies on top of the ladder and then slash at them with my knife. It conserves ammo AND the fall damages them! Just blew up the boulder with some dynamite from the cart.

My God... I get it now. It's a mining facility. They're mining the Las Plagas? That's what the memo meant by fossilized remains! I'm looking at them right now, isn't there a way to destroy them? Those damnable things
